Jimin
Akila City was... something.
Barrett had a strange knowledge of Old Earth, and following Y/n cutting Jimin out of her life as much as possible, Jimin had grown closer to the rest of the crew, Barrett in particular (yes, it was because Jimin wanted to get closer to the awesome talking robot, VASCO). During that time, Barrett had shown Jimin a thousand Old Earth movies, some of which being the long-dead Western genre.
Akila City was a Western brought to life.
Not only did the atmosphere have that beige tint to it, but it also had the rustic feel with minimal engineering. Solomon Coe, founder of Akila, had designed it that way, and the Freestar respected him too much to change it. That meant there were no real "skyscrapers." At least, not in the traditional sense. They had tall buildings made of metal that appeared black in the dim lighting (thanks to the sky always having thick clouds), but otherwise, they stuck to stubby, one or two-story buildings, cobblestone paths, and old signs welcoming travelers to Akila. Yes, each sign looked like it would give Jimin an infection if he touched them without gloves.
Jimin trotted down the ramp of his ship and stood on the concrete landing pad. Ahead of him was the ship tech booth with four workers wearing hard hats there. A Trade Authority kiosk stood next to it, and Jimin rolled his eyes. Ew. It was the most obnoxious shade of green Jimin had ever seen. How did they even manage to make the green that bright?
