Jimin was out of time.
He had no time to process how he was about to lose his home, how fire had rained on him mere minutes ago, or how he was going to explain to Cora why her daddy was the way he was. All Jimin had time for was one thing. Or, more accurately, one person.
His mother.
Jimin sprinted until his lungs caved, his eyes watered, and his nose dripped with mucus and maybe vomit that refused to spew from his mouth. His collarbone pain was an afterthought, if even that, and he burst through Ebbside to Neon Core while Taehyung and Sarah carried the injured, unconscious Sam.
Y/n held up the rear with her Breach, firing behind her to dissuade anyone from following, and Jimin wished he had the mindset to do the same, but he was too busy fumbling with his squeaking boots that stomped into puddles and sent moisture soaring to the sides and into his socks.
