Another nightmare.
Sweat slithered down her glistening skin, followed by goosebumps that felt more like bruises. Aches hit her stomach, though she didn't know why. But what alerted her most was the lack of lights in her room. They flickered and flickered from the leeches constant assault on the ship. Marbles did her best, but with the crew jumping from place to place, leeches, countless of them, were bound to appear.
It took a minute of adjusting to the flickering darkness and clasping her hands together to ground herself in reality for her to sit up and stretch. The stretches caused more aches to rocket through her, but she lacked the effort to care.
Her room had little of note aside from scattered posters of old UC propaganda and spoof "advertisements" the UC made about Neon. The UC enjoyed making fun of Neon the most, and Y/n couldn't blame them.
It reeked of bleach from the cleanings she had given her space. Every night she'd do something, almost as if she had to. A scrub of her desk or her floors, making her bed three times over, throwing out old clothes, or rushing to the bathroom to wipe the toilets until she could see her reflection in it more than the mirror. Anything, as long as it was cleaning. For some reason, the sudden urge to clean came at night, when most were asleep.
Jimin had seen her cleaning the bathroom on occasion. Each time, he hadn't questioned it and thanked her for doing the cleaning tasks Andreja or Jungkook tended to handle. Sometimes Sarah, though she cleaned the kitchen more.
