(George's POV)

Fred and I sat next to each other in the middle of the class. We wanted to make sure we could get away with what we could. Fred kept nudging me every time he thought a cute girl passed by us. I simply laughed and gave the girls a rating. Most were below a nine. However, there was a girl that was an eight. Her hair looked nice and soft, but she could've styled it better.

"Quiet, quiet." Professor Lupin walked in having the doors slam behind him. "Who ever is not in here right now is late." He reached his desk and turned to face us. He looked around. His expression said that he was looking for something. It was like if he couldn't find it, something was terrible wrong.

There was a knock at the door, and everyone's head snapped to face it. A head of blonde hair appeared, peeking in.

McWilliams! My eyes widened.

She moved her bangs over her eyes and began walking in. Lupin smiled at her and, like an old friend, showed her seat.

He then looked at the class and smiled. "I don't like the seating arrangement right now. Stand up and line up at the back of the class room."

Everyone did as he instructed, and one by one we took the seats he pointed to. Unfortunately, he separated me from Fred. We frowned at each other from across the isle. Then I noticed the girl on my left, McWilliams. I looked at Lupin, who was walking to the board. I smiled to myself and levitated a note to Fred that read, "It starts today."

Fred sent a note back. It read, "oh, georgy, something about this year seems wonderful."

(Alex's POV)

I saw Weasley pass another note to his twin. Earlier that morning, Lupin told me that one was Fred, and one was George. I couldn't tell which one was the one I met, but the one next to me seemed a little familiar. I knew the one I met was George because Fred left him behind, but I couldn't tell if he really was the one that was sitting next to me.

A note passed the twin over to me. Lupin turned away from the board. The twins slouched down and occasionally looked up to pretend they were copying Professor Lupin. I pretended the note was part of my work.

Lupin smiled at the class. "I know it may seem boring, but it's the first week and I have an agenda to follow. However, I want to get all that boring stuff done quickly, so study these creatures for a week." He leaned back on his desk. "If I were you," he looked at me, trying to have his gaze pierce into me, "I would study in class and socialize later. Next week, we shall see how prepared you are."

I slouched a bit, writing a random sentence on the top of my paper.

"You have the rest of class to do as you wish, except leave." Lupin went to sit at his desk.

The class groaned. Lupin smiled and looked down at his paperwork.

The twin turned to me. "You told him to arrange it like this, didn't you?" He voice was sweet, and his smile was bright. He leaned close to me and whispered, "you're not an ordinary student are you?"

"What?" I blinked.

"The professor seems to know you well."

"That's because he and I had the same cart on the train." I grinned. Fall for it, fall for it.

"Oh. That makes sense." He frowned, looking away. "But there is still something interesting about you, McWilliams."

"George." I smiled, then looked down at my book, trying to hide that I was blushing. "So I'm guessing that you're brother over there is Fred."
