Chapter 1

Trisོ 
I open my eyes to see a sleeping Tobias, he looks so peaceful when he sleeps. But we need to get ready. I kiss him and he's eyes immediately flutter open. "We need to get ready." I state
"Are you exited?" Tobias asks me
"Defiantly"
This year I get to train the transfer initiates with Tobias. "So," he says "should we tell them about our relationship?"
"I think it would be better if we focused 100% on initiation," I tell him " let's get ready"
"We have to be at the net by 10" he informs me.

At the net
I hear a scream as a red blur hits the net. I reach over to the amity boy and help him off the net. "What's your name?" I ask him.
"Tyler."
Make the announcement Four."
"First jumper-Tyler!" Tobias announces. Once all the initiates have jumped I go through the list of them in my head:
Tyler-amity
Sarah-candor
Elizabeth-erudite
Jake-erudite
Lucas-amity
Sapphire-candor
Clancy-Erudite
Hunter-candor
Ashley/ash-candor

These are the transfer initiates that Tobias and I are training. I look at Tobias as he says "alright, transfers come with me and dauntless borns go with Uriah and Chris." Lauren took a break this year because she is tired of doing initiation. The dauntless borns follow Uri and Chris towards the dorms. "Everyone, listen up." I shout
"I am Four and this is Six, we will..." He shouts but is interrupted when Sapphire interrupts "Four and Six like the numbers? What were 1, 2, 3 and 5, taken?"
I walk up to her and try to look intimidating "no, like the shapes. Is there a problem with that?" I say in a deep voice.
"N..no" she stutters
"That's what I thought"
"As I was saying," Tobias continues "we will be your instructors for the next month. We will now show you the pit which is the centre of life here at dauntless." Everyone follows us into the pit, we stop for a minute so they can take everything in and I hear murmurs from the group. I scan over the initiates and stop when I see Sarah, Elizabeth, Sapphire and Ash standing in a group looking at Tobias and talking about him. My blood boils when I hear Ash say "omg, you guys need to help me to get him to go out with me." She must be the leader of the group, the other girls look at her as if to say 'but I want him'. Ash doesn't notice though because she is to busy staring at Tobias.

Tobias continues walking towards the Chasm and everyone follows with me at the back. "This is the Chasm," Tobias yells
"The Chasm reminds us of the fine line between bravery and idiocy," I continue, "a daredevil jump off this ledge will end your life."
"It has happened before and will happen again, you have been warned" Tobias finishes.

"Are there any questions?" Tobias asks as we stand at the door of the transfer dorms. Hunter and Sarah raise their hands. Tobias nods his head towards Sarah and she asks flirtatiously "are initiates allowed to date their instructors?" It takes all my will to not to go over to her and beat the crap out of her. But Tobias just nods towards Hunter "this is directed at Six, are you single?" Tobias clenches his fists and I almost go and slap him in the face. "So, it's stupid questions day and nobody told me." I know that if Tobias says anything he will explode so I yell at them and add "training starts at 8 sharp, if your late there will be consequences."
I walk out the door behind Tobias out the door and slam it shut with my heal.
