Chapter 10

Tris
"Four!" I yell. "Give it back!" Tobias shoves the cake in his mouth and swallows it. "Yo still want it?" He questions jokingly. "Not now" I huff. "Oi, we have to do the fight for tomorrow "
"Why didn't we do that before we came to the cafeteria" Tobias whines as we get up from our seats. "Because I only just remembered, duh" I say mocking seriousness.

"Ok, so Elizabeth vs. Sarah" I suggest
seeing neither of them have won a fight yet. "Yep, okay, good." Tobias says, "and Tyler vs. Hunter and Lucas and Ashley"
"Jake has already sat out a round and Clancy and sapphire have already fought so jake vs. Clancy and sapphire sits out."
"Sounds good" he says as he writes down sapphires name.

As we walk back to the cafeteria I hear a muffled sob from a side hallway. "I'll catch up with you" I say to Tobias "alright then" he says and continues towards the cafeteria. I walk slowly down the dim hallway until I see a curled up figure leaning against the wall. I recognise the petite frame as Clancy. I silently crouch down in front of her and gently place my hands on her knees. She jumps in surprise and coils away from me for a second before she realises who I am. She relaxes but tears streak her face. "What happened?" I ask gently. More tears streak her face. I move to Sit beside her and o wrap my arm around her shoulders bringing her closer to me. "You don't have to tell me-" I gently start but she sobs out "Jake touched me" putting her head on to my shoulder crying into it. How dare he touch a girl. "How?" I ask "we were the only two in the dorms and he came over to me and started groping me and touched me down there." Clancy buries her head back on her knees and sobs into them. "He won't get away with this" I reassure her as well as myself because I will NOT let him get away with it. "Come with me, there's something I want to show you.
I silently lead her to bottom of the chasm and over the rocks like Tobias did last year when he admitted to liking me and first kissed me.  I sit down on a flat rock and she sits next to me.  "You can always come here if you need to be alone, not many people come here" she nods her head still gazing at the rough water only meters from us. "I you need anything come and see me ok"  I offer. " thanks" she says still staring at the water her tears slowly drying. I stand and walk back toward the cafeteria, leaving her by here self. I find our usual table and sit between Tobias and Chris. "What was that about?" Tobias asks in a low voice. "Clancy had and 'incident' with Jake" I see his arms tense at what I just said. At that moment Christina tugs and my arm so I turn my attention to her. "You will not believe what just happened" she says  excitedly "ok tell me" I reply and she launches into a story about Uriah falling over and needing 4 stitches.

As a walk alongside Christina I see Clancy walking in our direction. I lean slightly to Chris "that's one of my initiates" I whisper. Clancy comes to a stop in front of us. "Hi six" she say in a shy voice, that's almost a whisper. "Is there anywhere else I could stay tonight, I don't feel safe in the dorms"

Another chapter down. I'm trying to get chapters out every few days for you guys. I know a lot of people have stopped reading because I didn't uptake in a while. Also I have some ideas for the book but if you guys have any thought on how I can spice it up those comments would be greatly appreciated.
