The End of the World (Feitan x Reader)

Chapter 15

As we reached the ground floor, we noticed that it was quiet. Too quiet for a world that had just been invaded by zombies.

"Where is everyone? Where are the zombies?" Jessica, who was part of the group, asked.

"Are we going to get ambushed?" Jonathan questioned. "Or the soldiers came and wiped out the zombies? I think we finally got rescu-" 

A green tentacle suddenly pierced Jonathan's face. It took a while for me to processed what happened as Jonathan's body fell, revealing a green zombie with his right hand morphed into tentacles.

"Aaaaah-" Jessica screamed and the tentacle immediately killed her.

Everyone scattered everywhere, I was suddenly pulled to the side by Feitan and we hid behind a car. 

"Is that why no one is here?" I whispered to him.

"Maybe." He replied then pointed at something. "My troupe is here."

All of the sudden, Shalnark appeared out of nowhere.

"To those who just came, this monster doesn't have any sight!" Shalnark shouted while dodging an attack from the tentacle. "Make sure you don't make a noise as it has loud hearing!"

Shalnark then lead the zombie on a certain place before putting out a remote and pressing it. The zombie exploded within seconds, making its parts splatter everywhere. 

"I-i can't t-take this anymore! T-this is too much!" Hades suddenly started panicking and he ran on the gun that Kurapika was holding.

He then pointed the gun on his head and shot himself. Everyone, especially Kurapika, was beyond shocked on what they've just witnessed. I was brought back to reality when Feitan grabbed my hand.

"Need to go." He said and that's when I realized that hundreds of zombies, eyeless and with sights, were coming towards us.

"Everyone! We need to move!" I shouted and this seems to snap them from their trance.

We all ran forward, towards the bus where Shalnark and his other troupe were already in the bus. Everything happened so fast, some of the people were caught by the zombies and it's just a matter of time before they can catch up with the rest of us.

Killua, Gon and Kurapika were doing their best to defend on the backline, but of course, you couldn't really save everyone.

"Olg hag/Bisky!" Killua and Gon shout at the same time.

I looked back and saw Bisky getting eaten by the zombies. Kurapika and Leorio had to pushed Killua and Gon forward as more zombies appeared.

"It's too late, we need to go!" Kurapika shouted.

Few people made it to the bus, including Feitan and the rest are still coming. 

"Hurry up you slow folks!" Nobunaga, the driver, shouted as zombies started appearing from their side and is banging the bus.

When Kurapika and Gon made it to the bus, they stayed outside and shot the zombies who were near the bus. As luck would have it, I tripped over a dead zombie and rolled across the floor. I grunted in pain as I was hit by a sudden headache and the world was spinning around me.

"Y/n!" Kurapika called out but it sounded muffled.

My sight was blurred, and I tasted iron in my mouth. I saw the zombies coming in close with me and all I could do was start to run. I felt so slow though, my brain wanted to go fast but my body is not responding. 

Is this the way I die? Getting devoured by zombies? I used to wish for zombies to come before so I don't have to go to school anymore. How foolish I am to have had those wishes. Now I just wished for everything to go back to normal, have my everyday school life and maybe fight the Phantom troupe more.

Maybe even find the love of my life, get marry and have ten kids. I should had dated more guys if I knew that there was going to be a zombie apocalypse, eat all the desserts I've been wanting to eat and get banged by Jungkook. As if that would ever happen.

And when I thought this was the end for me, my knight and shining armor came to my rescue. Although it wasn't the one I expected to be, it was Kurapika. Why was I disappointed that he was the one who saved me?

"Y/n, let's go!" Kurapika pulled me while shooting the zombies.

I did see Feitan staring at us from a distant and somehow, this made me feel happy, knowing that he too, tried to save me. I did, however, saw through Kurapika's plan.

"Please don't..." I begged him and he glanced at me. "I had seen enough people dying, please don't continue what you are thinking."

I was glad that I reached him as I don't want to see both of them to die. If he killed Feitan, then his troupe will return its favor. I guess no one really knows that Kurapika already killed Uvogin, hence why no one is attacking him.

If they knew, then there will be a bloodbath

Phantom Troupe vs Kurapika, Killua, Gon and Leorio. I wouldn't want to know the outcome when these people fight each other. 

Feitan already returned in the bus, me and Kurapika finally made it there. I collapse on the ground due to exhaustion and I didn't even realize that my head was bleeding.

"Let me help you with that." Shalnark offered while bringing first aid kit but Kurapika grabbed it from him.

"I'll do it myself." Kurapika said and placed the kit down.

"You don't need to be mean to them, they're just trying to help." I told Kurapika and he scoffed.

"Those spiders will never stop until they capture everyone in their webs and eliminate them. The only way to stop them is by squashing them! Remove the head and the rest of the arms will fall." Kurapika stated while staring at Chrollo.

Chrollo gave me a smile then Phinks stood behind Kurapika.

"Oh, you think you can kill our boss! You must be dreaming blondie!" Phinks shouted.

"Shut your mouth you eyebrowless macho dancer!" Killua commented and this irked Phinks more.

"What you say you old looking kid!" Phinks fires back and I had have enough.

"Enough you two! Can't you see we're in the middle of war here! It may not be people, but it's people against zombies! Which is even worse because your families and friends could turn once they get bitten! It is us against ourselves! Now if you don't have anything nice to say, I suggest you save your energy for the upcoming battle!" And with what I've said, everyone went on to their seat and didn't say another word.

Kurapike finished treating me so I sat at the front seat where no one can disturb me. Well, that's because everyone was almost seating from middle to back seat and the only person who can disturb me was Nobunaga.

I relaxed myself and was about to drift to sleep, but then I suddenly felt someone staring at me. I looked behind me and caught Feitan. As soon as I made eye contact, he quickly changed his gaze.

What was that about?
