The End of the World (Feitan x Reader)

Chapter 11

The two of you continued walking away from the eyeless zombies, hoping you won't encounter another zombie that have a vision as you were really tired and you're not sure if you can handle another one.

You and Feitan were really careful on not making any noise and managed to reach the staircase. From what you can remember, you were on the 8th floor. Taking the elevator is a bad idea because of the earthquake so you have no choice but to take the stairs.

You looked down at Feitan's ankle and noticed that the bone was badly misplaced and you knew that he won't be able to run soon.

Don't underestimate me

Those words replayed in your mind and you mentally rolled your eyes, knowing he can still say those stuff even though he won't be able to do it. 

You were still wondering on why he saved you but you chose to stay silent and ask that later when the two of you are both safe. You then stop on your tracks as the door of the 7th floor suddenly opened and a student was shouting.

"HELP ME!" She shouted as a zombie jumped onto her and bit her neck. 

More zombies feasted on her and you slowly walked back away from her. She then saw the two of you and tried reaching for you but you couldn't do anything but watch.

"H-help me... please..."

Her hand dropped to the ground as her body became lifeless and the zombies who were eating her before stood up and walked aimlessly, waiting for the next person to eat.

One of the zombie walked towards you while twitching and you have to hold your breath so it won't be able to hear you breathing. You didn't notice but your legs were shaking and the only support you have to keep you standing was Feitan.

He made sure that you wouldn't collapsed as it will make a noise, knowing there were four zombies near the two of you right now. The zombie started sniffing and he was getting close to your face.

It was only a few inches before it can verify that there's an undead person in front of it because of the smell when all of the sudden, you all heard another person screaming. It didn't even take a second before they all sprinted out to follow the noise.

You breathed out a sigh of relief and held your pounding chest. You then looked at Feitan and realise that you've given your whole weight on him.

"You too heavy brat." He pushes you away lightly and you didn't have the energy to fight back as you nearly experienced a near death situation.

The two of you were about to leave when the student who got bitten before started twitching, as if it was coming back to life. You widen your eyes as you noticed something different. 

This student didn't try to remove her eyes just like what Lily did. She stood up and locked eyes with you then released a really loud shriek.

You quickly let go of Feitan and grabbed her by her legs then lifted her onto the railings, letting her fall to her second death. Her noise attracted the other zombies so you went back to Feitan and supported him as you both rapidly walked down the stairs.

On the way, you saw many dead bodies. Some were zombies, others were human who died before they turned into zombies. You have no idea where the zombie came from. 

One thing you know is everything changed for a split second when you and Feitan were sent in detention room and you were confused on how a virus can spread so fast that at least 90% people in the campus were now zombies.

You heard the zombie shrieking behind you and you have to slam the door to the 7th floor open and letting go of Feitan as you shut the door. The zombies banged the door as you backed away and inhaled deeply.

When you look at Feitan, he was perfectly standing on both of his feet while observing you. You raised your eyebrow in confusion while scoffing.

"You could use your feet and you didn't even tell me?" You questioned and he shrugged.

"Ankle misplaced, me fixed it when you drop zombie." He replied and you rolled your eyes.

"You could have told me earlier before I dragged you into this floor." You complained and Feitan clicked his tongue.

"You dragged me immediately, too funny." He answered as he started walking away from you to pick up a crowbar.

"Unbelievable." 

"Need leave, zombie coming."

You followed behind him and watch as the zombies run to the sound they heard earlier. You almost laugh because you were near them but they didn't see you but that soon disappeared when you remembered that there were zombies who can see people.

'So zombies without a vision are faster than those who have a vision.' You thought as you remembered your encounter with the visioned zombies.

Speaking of the visioned zombies, you saw five of them on your way and Feitan immediately dealt with them. You blinked a few times, making sure you weren't imagining it and you were amaze that the emo can take down five zombies knowing he was still injured.

"Impressed?" Feitan snapped you out of your trance and you shook your head while rolling your heads.

"You wish."
