The End of the World (Feitan x Reader)

Chapter 6

"You hurt?" He questioned and I shook my head. "We need to get out of here."

I look around the room and notice cracks on the wall, it wasn't safe in that room anymore.

"Follow me and don't get in my way." He demanded and I rolled my eyes.

"Why should I follow you?" I asked with an eyebrow raise and he click his tongue.

"Suit yourself." He said while walking away.

"Hey! Wait for me!" I ran after him since I didn't really have any choice but to follow him.

Our priority right now is to get out of the building, who knows when the next earthquake will strike again and how strong is going to be. The whole building might collapse and crush all of us. I just hope that the others made it out safely.

When Feitan tried opening the door, it was jammed and he had trouble trying to open it. He then kicked the door as if it was nothing and I was amazed at his strength. Even though he was a midget, he was really strong.

"Hurry up." He annoyingly said and I rushed beside him.

Some of the lights on the hallway were now off while the others were still flickering. It was darker now before we got here but we can still see where we were going.

There were broken glasses from here to there and some things that were now lying on the ground.

"Be careful." He instructed as we both carefully walked on the broken pieces of glass.

It felt like we were walking endlessly on the hallway, trying to figure out what was happening in the world. All of the sudden, we heard a screaming echo at the end of the hallway.

Me and Feitan exchanged glances as we try and figure out what caused the screaming.

"Was that... Sir Michael?" I ask him and saw that his facial expression was mixed with curiosity and confusion.

"Not sure." He replied. "Let's be careful."

We continued walking more slowly and carefully through the broken glasses. All you could hear are some sirens going on, the cracking of the glass under our shoes and probably my breathing.

The shrieking scream came back and it made both of us frozen in our spot. This time, we were sure that it was our teacher Michael. His scream sounded like he was in pain. Suddenly, all of the lights went off. 

My heart stopped beating for a moment as the darkness took over the hallway. There was a silence at that moment, all I could hear was my breathing and my heartbeat. The scream got louder and louder as if it was coming in our way until it finally disappeared.

"Feitan?" I asked to see if Feitan was still there. "Feitan? Are you still there?" 

I didn't get any response and I was now shaking in fear. I tried reaching out to where he was but no one was there.

"Feitan!" I raised my voice and tried feeling the wall until I finally touched it. "Feitan! Where are you!"

I slowly made my way through the hall, bumping into different stuff and making some noises. I continued walking until I saw a little bit of light at the end of the hall and I rushed to get there, not caring on what I bump into. I just want to get out of here.

"Feitan where are you!" I swear I'm going to give him a beating for leaving me.

The light got bigger and bigger and my heart was pacing as I know that I will be out of this dark hallway. When I was about to turn to the corner, I bumped into someone and fell down the ground.

I look up and saw someone turning around. It was a cleaner on her 30's, I forgot her name but when she turned around, I saw that her skin was pale, her eyes were blood-shot and she was covered in blood. 

She let out a weird shrieking voice and took a step forward towards me. Bloods started oozing out from her mouth and I was about to scream, but something covered my mouth. I tried fighting whoever it was and the person turned me around.

When I saw that it was Feitan, I stop struggling. He put a finger on his scarf to where his lip was and pointed at the woman. I slowly turned around and watch as he threw a metal at the hallway that made a loud noise and the woman immediately ran towards it.

Feitan helped me stand up and held my hand while leading me out of the place. We both went inside a room and he made sure that no one was there, or another one of those creature that we encounter.

"W-what was that?" I loudly ask and Feitan stared at me for a second before answering.

"Zombie." He simply replied then I remembered that he disappeared back there.

"You left me all alone!" I exclaimed while pushing him and he held both of my wrist.

"I saved your life brat." He annoyingly said and I rolled my eyes.

"I don't care, you still left me!"

"Wouldn't care less if I left you to die there." I widen my eyes at what he just said.

"Well why did you come back and saved me!" I tried sounding so obvious about it.
