The moment I got my plane ticket for France, I had a bad feeling. It was like an uneasiness just settled upon my shoulders, a heavy weight I wasn't expecting.

I had this daunting feeling that I was going to find myself next to Ladley. As if Stack just decided to punish me in the worst way possible after figuring out my inappropriate relationship with Dom. I'm almost certain that she'll have separated me from Dom.

"I'm considering just grabbing a bag of lollies," Holly mumbles beside me in the duty-free zone. She's looking between chocolate and gummy worms. "Like, Ladley told me to stay off the snacks, but I get hungry, and the only thing they have are these."

I'm only half listening to Holly. My eyes are glued to Dom, his eyes closed as he leans back in the chair and listens to his music. He looks peaceful and calm, I like to see that he's zoning in, unlike the very distracted Holly.

"Would you eat sour worms?" Holly sticks the packet of Trolli branded sour worms in my face.

"Yeah, I suppose." I mumble, still gazing at Dom.

"Okay, can you stop eye fucking your boyfriend for once and focus on me." Holly jabs my side, forcing me to turn back to her.

"Sorry," I mutter, feeling extremely mortified by being caught.

"You'll have all the time to do whatever you want with him when you're in the city of love." Holly teases, waggling her eyebrows suggestively.

"Not on Stack's watch." The words arrive bitterly. I know Stack's just trying her best to keep Dom and I out of trouble, but we can't even go two seconds without looking at each other.

"Yeah, but like, once it hits evening, you can always sneak out." Holly suggests unhelpfully.

"Yeah, because Stack won't have set up a security guard outside of my hotel room." I mumble in frustration. "Besides, she'll probably have booked my room next door to hers."

Beside me, Holly chuckles smugly. She knows how much this is killing me.

"Also, he's not my boyfriend." I finally correct her, the wording on my mind the moment she said it.

Holly laughs out loud and is forced to slap a hand on her mouth when she gains unwanted snoopers. "I was wondering how long it'd take you to correct me." She whispers, jabbing me in the side. "Jayce said he did it to Dom the other day, and Dom said nothing, so Jayce has just continued to call you that."

Of course, he has. Holly and Jayce, they're such meddlers.

"You two seriously need to stop." I stare at Holly, trying to clue her in that if anyone's going to spill about Dom and I, it's them.

"We can't help it. It's our daily entertainment." Holly snickers.

"Why couldn't you two have just stuck to making out?" I mutter to myself, just loud enough so that Holly hears me.

Holly's eyes flicker to mine, and she sweeps her tongue along her lips. "It got boring."

"Boring?" I scoff.

"He's not my type." Holly shrugs dismissively.

"Bullshit." I chirp, and Holly storms off, the sour worms in hand, towards the counter.

I asked Dom what the deal between Jayce and Holly was, but he just said that Jayce has been very tight-lipped.

I make my way back over to where Dom's seated opposite him is a very sour looking Ladley. Her lips are tight, eyebrows dipped, chin tilted upwards.

Slipping into the seat beside Dom, I try my best to ignore Ladley's judgemental gaze or Stack's concerned glances.

"What are you listening to?" I softly pull at Dom's headphones to get his attention.
