"How did you do that?!" I yelled. I was so happy to see the inside of that blue box again.

"Transporter cuff that I took off a friend of mine. I'll have to make sure that he gets a nice thank you for that," The Doctor replied.

Jane kept looking around us, completely awestruck. She was speaking to herself so quickly and quietly that, had I not watched her mouth move the whole time, I would have thought she was completely silent.

"We need to think of something to get rid of the Dooseldoorfs. We can't run away," The Doctor said. I was watching him, waiting for him to tell us what our next move was. He was right: at this point in time, running away was not the option. Even though I had only been around him for one day (at least it was one day in my eyes), I already knew that he and I were a lot alike. We were both proud and we were both stubborn. He didn't bring us into the T.A.R.D.I.S. so that we could run away like cowards. He brought us here as a way to think and possibly strategize.

"Wait," Jane said as she moved slowly to stand by my side. "This place is..."

"The T.A.R.D.I.S.," I said.

"Time and Relative Dimension in Space," Jane replied, "I know." I wanted nothing more than to shove my hand down her throat right now. She wasn't trying to show me up. I know that my anger was only because I was jealous that she remembered everything and I couldn't remember anything. She would be perfect for my husband if something bad happened to me today. "This is completely different then how it was when you left! What happened?"

"It, in a way, regenerated itself once we landed," The Doctor explained as he moved towards, what seemed like, a computer monitor. He quickly typed away on a keyboard and stared at the screen as images flew across the screen. He was mumbling the whole time as he devised a plan. He was speaking too fast for me to really pick up on anything he was saying. I was getting more and more frustrated with every ticking second. I wanted my life in New York back. I wanted to see Benny. I wanted everything to be normal again. Why did this have to happen to me?

"Get out of your "woe is me" mindset and come help us!" Jane yelled. I turned to look at Jane and The Doctor carrying what appeared to be a large, metal beam.

"Sorry," I said as I ran towards the middle of the beam and lifted it higher. We could carry it at waist height, no problem, now. I looked at The Doctor and saw that he looked a little frustrated. I looked over at Jane and saw that she was fuming. "I said sorry."

She rolled her eyes as we got to the door. The Doctor snapped his fingers from under the beam and smiled as the door opened. Jane glared at him while I stared, open mouthed. "That never gets old," he said as we carried the beam.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked as we walked out of the T.A.R.D.I.S.

"Well, if you had been paying attention you would know that we are in Darius' office," Jane explained. I did not like the bitterness in her voice as she spoke to me. She was so friendly when we first ran into her. Now, it was as if she had been replaced by some demon, her anger was so strong. "You would also know that we're going to be using this beam as a way to get the leader of the Dooseldoorfs into this room so that The Doctor can have a nice little chat."

"You mean The Doctor is going to kill him?" I asked.

I watched Jane's face the entire time we put the beam down. Her anger seethed out of her. I almost thought that I watched it cloak her in snakes of smoke. It was my turn to be awestruck. Almost as quickly as I saw them, the snakes were gone.

"I never kill without reason," The Doctor said. I rolled my eyes as my attention turned to the man who was starting to connect different wires together. I didn't understand how this was going to work but he sure thought that it was plausible. "I just want to reason with it before I have a good enough reason to do anything more drastic."
