"I will give you one more chance to tell me where she is!" Benny yelled. The gun that he was holding was pressed up against The Doctor's temple. He thought that he would be able to envoke fear in the man, not knowing anything about the horrors that he has faced in other galaxies.

"Charlotte Evermore is with her HUSBAND now," Elizabeth said, exasperated. She was angry, tired, but most of all, she was scared for The Doctor. She didn't know if Benny was being serious with that gun. Maybe he was bluffing and the gun wasn't even loaded. But, then again, there was no way of knowing this without that trigger being pulled and she was not willing to test that theory. She just wanted to explore this world that she had heard so much about from her sister. "Does it really matter where she is if she is with the man that she is SUPPOSED to be with?" She tried to get to her feet but Jeff placed his hand on her shoulder gently, stopping her from standing. "Look, Benny, right? Anyway, Benny, she is safe. I saw her off myself."

"Husband?" Benny stared at Elizabeth, shocked that that word could ever escape her mouth. The fact that Charlotte was safe did not seem to sink into his mind. What did was that his lover had a husband.

"Yes, her husband!" Elizabeth shouted, smacking Jeff's hand away and standing to her feet. "You are too closed minded to ever believe what had happened and why you didn't know about her husband!"

"Benny is far from closed minded," Jeff said, standing up for his boss.

Elizabeth looked over at The Doctor before turning her attention to Jeff and rolling his eyes. "You are adorable, Jeff was it? You are really adorable and your accent is the cutest ever! We don't have accents like that from where I'm from but most of this planet is too closed minded for what happened with Charlotte. This planet is actually too closed minded for me to even possibly bear.  It's too close minded to even know where I come from! Come on, Doctor, let's leave." At her words, though, Benny cocked the gun. He was one-hundred percent serious about finding out what happened to the girl that he had fallen in love with and he was not going to let them leave without them telling him what really happened.

"If you even try to leave here, Doctor, I will put a bullet through your head," Benny responded calmly. "That is not a threat, that is a promise."

"Oh, tosh, Benny, this is rediculous! We have tried to tell you what happened without upsetting your very human mind," The Doctor said. "I do love how human it really is, mind you. When I left with her, I took her to be back with her husband. The problems that had arose when we had left him to find safety for her in the first place have been erradicated. Honestly, I have never seen her happier and I had been keeping a close eye on her while she was working as your assistant. She is safer than she ever was here and isn't that really what matters in this situation?"

"What matters is that you took her away from me, return without her, and then tell me that she has a husband? This is incredulous! I want to know what is going on right now!" Benny yelled.

All that was going through Elizabeth's mind at this point was how were they going to get out of this mess. It was her fault that they were in it. She should have been able to tell from his voice when she originally said that they should go to New York. She should have heard the hesitation in his voice. But she didn't pay attention to it at the time because she was too excited to go to this amazing place that she had only heard of because he had brought Maggie there once. Of course, the time that they had traveled to was in the 1940s. But she had dreamed of going to Earth and going to New York City if The Doctor ever came back and she was able to travel with him. If she had heard the way his voice had sounded, maybe they wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.

Elizabeth let out a sigh and sat in her chair. She looked over at Jeff and saw that he was admiring her. He kept looking her over. His eyes would follow the way that her hair framed her face and the shape of her eyes. She could feel her cheeks begin to pinken in color. He was quite a handsome man.
