Ada audibly let out a large sigh of relief when Thomas's eyes fluttered open, gently gripping onto his shoulder as his head rested in her lap. The first thing he saw was her face leaning over him as she peered down at him. She visibly voiced the light knit of his eyebrows as he gazed up at her with a newfound look in his eyes, peeking her curiosity as to why.

It was the next morning and Ada had concerningly been hovering over Thomas's unconscious figure the entire night, waiting for the moment his eyes opened and he became alert.

"Hey," She managed to crack a small soft smile at the now awake boy who had given them all a fright when he stabbed himself with the Griever's venom. Ada didn't want to think what would have happened if Chuck hadn't gotten the vial of the cure in time. "You okay?"

"Ada..." Thomas mumbled under his breath quietly, but coherent enough for Ada to make out what he was saying as his eyes narrowed in on her face.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Chuck questioned the older boy with worry in his tone of voice from his spot outside of the pit cage with Newt, Minho and Luther. Thomas abruptly sat up, causing Ada to shift over a little to make more room in the small space that her, Thomas and Teresa sat in after Gally's meltdown.

"What happened?" Thomas asked, his gaze solely on Ada, every now and then flickering to Teresa who softly gazed at the brunette male. Thomas's voice was hoarse for a moment after waking back up.

"Gally's taken control." Newt supplied the answer for him; Thomas's eyes snapping towards the blond second-in-command who leaned closely against the cage door where Ada was closest to. "He said we had a choice. Either join him or get banished at sundown with you. I voted getting banished myself —"

"But I'd never let you do that." Ada interrupted him sternly, her smile on her delicate features falling with a firm look she sent to him. Newt frowned in response.

He had originally refused to join Gally when Gally said he would be banishing Ada as well as Teresa and Thomas because all the evidence concluded to the fact she was a part of this set up and couldn't be trusted along with the other two; no matter how long she had been in the Glade. Newt knew in his heart Ada could never be capable of things like that, he trusted her completely and he trusted in her judgments. For Newt, Ada was his person, and he would follow her til the end even if it meant dying either with her or to save her.
