Jason's POV
We decided to take off a day at school today. Since we got home late last night we were really tired. It was about 10:00 and I was the only one awake. I decided to make a big breakfast for everyone to surprise them. They always tell me I'm horrible at cooking, so I'm gonna prove them wrong.
I made pancakes, waffles, bacon, eggs, and biscuits. We also had milk and OJ. I sat all the plates on the table.
"Jason?" Piper said coming down the stairs. "What are you doing?"
I sat the last plate down. "Making breakfast! What would you like?" I asked and pulled out a chair for her.
"Umm... maybe some pancakes and bacon please." she said.
As I was making her plate, everyone else came down the stairs. "Hey guys!" I said. "I made breakfast!"
We all got our plates and ate.
"So, since we're out of school today, what should we do?" Annabeth asked us.
"Ummm... Percy? You got any ideas?" I asked.
"Why don't we go bowling or something?" he replied.
"Ooooh! I have an idea! Why don't we go ice skating?" Leo said .
I looked around at everyone and we were all nodding our heads. Annabeth had a sneaky smile on her face. "I'm just gonna warn you all now. I've been skating once in my whole life. So if I'm standing next to somebody and I fall, they're coming down with me!" she said and we all started to laugh.
"Ok! So ice skating it is! Let's go get ready." Hazel said and we all ran to our rooms.

Piper's POV
I put on some skinny jeans and a sweater, since it will be a little cool in there. I grabbed some tennis shoes and went out the door to wait for the others. I decided to watch some TV since they were taking WAY to long to get ready.
"Are you ready Piper?" Annabeth said behind me.
"Yeah. Let's go!" I said and we drove off.

Percy's POV
I wasn't exactly the best at ice skating. I mean, I would rather go swimming at home and relaxing while we're out of school. But no, we had to go somewhere. And I'm probably gonna be holding on to Annabeth the whole time so I don't
"Why don't we just turn around? We could swim and relax at home?" I asked.
"C'mon Percy! Stop being a party pooper!" Annabeth said, nudging me.
"Yeah! Let's enjoy our day off of school cause we won't be doing this every week!" Leo said. "We'll have fun, even if we don't know how!"
We got there after about 20 minutes stuck in traffic. Jason paid for everyone's ticket. I told the worker my shoe size and put them on with everyone else.
"Who's ready to fall over and look like idiots?!" Frank said.
"Yay." I said sarcastically. I grabbed Annabeth's hand and we entered the rink.

Annabeth's POV
I COULD NOT ice skate one bit. Nope. I fell almost every 3 steps I took. And every time I fell I grabbed Percy and he came down with me. That's what he gets.
"Well, you guys are doing really good!" I told Jason and Piper who were skating like pros.
"Once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy." Piper said. "Try it!"
I looked at Percy who nodded his head. I let go of his hand and tried to balance myself.
"One foot in front of the other." Piper reminded me.
I was starting to get the hang of it. I was still falling but not as much as I was before. Percy was though. He was latched on to Leo who was doing pretty good himself too. Hazel and Frank were skating together behind all of us.
"Hey guys!" Piper said skating toward us. "I'm gonna try to do a trick."
I looked at her nervously, "what kind of trick?" I asked.
"I'm gonna try... maybe a spin! Yeah, I'm gonna do a spin." she replied
"What if you get hurt?" I said.
"Oh, don't worry Annabeth! I'll be fine!"
she said and skated towards the middle. She got a run up and started to spin. She started to go really fast. Way to fast.
"Piper!" I yelled as soon as she hit the floor. We all ran to her with Percy still latched o to Leo.
"Piper! Are you ok?" I asked and kneeled next to her. Jason came up behind me.
"I think.... I think I broke my leg." she said. The way she struggled to talk probably meant the fall had knocked the wind out of her.
"Oh my gods! Someone call the ambulance! Don't just stand there and stare at her!" I yelled. Percy took out his phone and called.
"It will be here soon, Piper. Just hang tight." Percy told her.

Piper's POV
My leg felt like it was going to burst. It was aching everywhere. My knee felt like it was popped out of place and my ankle was burning. The fall knocked the breath out of me so I could barely breathe or talk.
"They're here." Annabeth told me. "C'mon, I'll help you up."
Annabeth and Jason grabbed each of my arms and pulled me up. The ambulance came in with a stretcher. One of them picked me up (which was kind of awkward) and layed me across the stretcher.
Annabeth walked up to one of the men. "Is it ok if all of us ride in the back with her?" she asked.
He nodded his head and they all climbed inside. Jason was beside me holding my hand. I was lucky to have friends like this in my life. I don't know what I would do without them.
