Chapter 23

Sorry for the cliff hanger last chapter... truly sorry... but here's another chapter and I hope you guys like it;)

Piper's POV

"Good morning, Jason," I told him as we met walking down to the pavilion for breakfast. There were hardly anyone there so we decided to sit down on one of the picnic tables and wait for the rest of the camp.

"Good morning." Jason said back.

"Hey, um, have you seen Percy or Annabeth lately? I didn't really see them last night and they're also early for breakfast sometimes." I tried to belive that they were just with Chiron or something or that they were still sleeping but I had a weird feeling.

"Um... No, I havent. Have you checked their cabins?"

"Yeah. So sign of them there either. I haven't seen Jade either." I said.

"Well, they're probably just still sleeping because you know, Percy loves his sleep." Jason told me, trying to make me feel better. It worked a little.

Once we waited for about 15 more minutes, campers began filing down to the pavilion. Still no Percy or Annabeth. Not even Jade. I glanced over at Jason for a minute and he also had a worried look on his face.

~Time Skip~

Chiron had called a meeting for the seven of us to join him in the Big house. Surprisingly, Percy and Annabeth were there, sitting on the couch, half passed out. They both had bags under their eyes.

"Ok everyone. Sit down. We have very important news for you guys." As we all sat down, Percy and Chiron exchanged glances and shifted uncomfortably.

"As you can see, Annabeth Anand Percy are a little... not good, I should say."

"What happened to them?" Hazel asked Chiron, clearly eager for him to continue.

"Well, last night, they followed the new girl, Jade, into the woods. She apparently was working with Gaea to take over our camp. Again. But, she doesn't know that they were there spying on her."

"Then why do Percy and Annabeth look like... that?" Frank said.

"They were there all night long. And they also didn't get to go to breakfast because people would wonder where they would've been." Chiron got a little shaky when he said that last sentence.

"Well, she wasn't at breakfast this morning."

Just then, someone burst into the living room door of the Big House. And you wouldn't believe who it was.

"What are y'all talking about?" Jade said in her cute little innocent voice. Which wasn't so innocent. "Can I join the fun?" This time she laughed like a six year old and twirled her hair. Gosh I know something was up with that kid.

"Oh! Jade, we were just talking about you! How about you sit down?" Jason looked at Chiron and mouthed no! Get her out of here.

"We have a few questions to ask you." Percy said, now sitting up next to Annabeth. "I didn't see you in the cabin last night. Where were you?"

Jade looked uncomfortably at Jason asked I and then back to Percy. "What do you mean? I was in the cabin sleeping in my bunk. You didn't see me?"

Oh please. Now she's lying right in front of our faces, I thought.

"Oh, then I guess I just didn't look around hard enough." Percy said, smirking at Chiron.

"Well," Chiron began. "This has been a nice little meeting so I will let all of you go to your normal training classes and continue with your day."

As we walked away from the Big House, we joined in with our classes for training. And right when I glanced over, guess who I saw sneaking into the woods?

Ok, this chapter was HORRIBLE!!! I am so sorry and it's also really short... I just really wanted to get an update in today so you all aren't screaming at me:) I will try and make the next chapter more interesting than this one because this one was just plain crap. Sorry;) also one more thing, I really need some ideas from you guys so please leave some comments about new ideas? Thanks:) bye
