Percy's POV
Today's the day. Today is our FIRST day of a normal high school. YAY? Most people wouldn't be so excited about high school. But since we're demigods and we barely ever get to do stuff that's normal, we're excited! It was about 6:00 in the morning and I was already up and almost ready. I changed into my normal everyday clothes. Exempt my Camp Half-Blood t-shirt because I wouldn't wanna wear that to school. So instead I just wore a navy blue t-shirt with some jeans. I brushed my teeth and combed my hair and went to go check on Annabeth.
I knocked on their cabin door. "Hey! Ready for our first day of high school?" she said as she opened the door.
"Who wouldn't be? I replied. I sorta had a bad reputation about schools cause I always got kicked out of them. But oh well!
Annabeth was wearing a lime green tank top and some blue jean shorts. She slid on her sandals and we both walked to the Big House to meet the others.
We walked up the stairs and onto the porch. Everyone was sitting in rocking chairs. Annabeth and I took a seat while Chiron walked out the door. "Good morning my favorite demigods!" He said with an upbeat voice. We all replied in unison, "Good morning."
He looked around the porch as if seeing if everyone was here. "Okay, we're all here. I'm going to be explaining where you all will be staying and how you will get to school."
"Does that mean we get our own cars?" Leo yelled.
"Just let me finish, Leo. Ok, you seven will be staying in a lovely mansion a few streets away from Goode. The gods have prepared it for you so each of your bedrooms will match your personality. And as for all your hard work here at camp, the gods have also rewarded you with your very own cars!"
Everyone smiled. "Yes! I knew it!" yelled Leo.
The only one who didn't look so happy was Hazel. "But what if monsters start attacking the house or one of us is alone and we get attacked? How will we get help?"
"I was just getting to that" said Chiron. "We have provided a border around the house to keep the monsters from attacking. And as for getting help, a friend from the Hephaestus cabin has made cell phones for you all. These phones will not send any signal to any monsters and you can use them to call for help."
Everyone looked stunned. A kid from the Hephaestus cabin ran up the porch stairs.
"Here you go Chiron. Seven phones for seven demigods." said the kid
Chiron looked at the phones for a minute and didn't look very happy. "Thank you. You may go back to training now."
The kid ran down the stairs and ran to the arena.
"Do you like them, Chiron?" asked Jason
"Why, yes I do. Why did you think I didn't?"
Jason looked down and then back up at Chiron. "Well, when he gave them to you you looked like you didn't like them. But never mind, it's ok."
"After breakfast we will have a little get together with everyone and say our goodbyes. But for now, you may go train a little or just hang out until you hear the horn. See you all later!" Chiron said as he walked back into the door.
After that was just silence. "Well, why don't we go train for a while?" I asked.
"Sounds good to me" Annabeth said. "Why don't we have a little...war?"
"Ok..." I said feeling good. "I'm gonna kick your guys butts!"
