Hazel's POV
We arrived at the hospital at about 8:30, and we didn't know how long we would stay here. All of us were in the waiting room while Piper was getting an X-Ray.
"Do you think she'll be OK?" Jason asked.
"Yes, Jason. She'll be fine. It's just a broken leg."I told him to calm him down.
One of the nurses walked up behind us. "It's way worse than a broken leg." he said. "Her leg is broken, her ankle is shattered, and her foot is fractured."
"Oh my gods!" Jason cried. "Will she be ok? Can she walk?" He started blurting out all kinds of questions.
"Jason" I said and gestured for him to stop.
I told the nurse to continue.
"We're giving her surgery right now on her foot. She will be in crutches for a while though." He said.
Jason gave him a mean look. "Well shouldn't you be in there helping her?!" He yelled. Percy calmed him down and the nurse walked back into the room.

Piper's POV
I was all done with my surgery and I was waiting to see my X-Rays. They brought them in after a while. Oh my gods. My foot looked like it got ran over by a monster truck. The bone was in pieces and my ankle popped out like it wasn't supposed to.
"That's what your foot looked like before the surgery." The nurse said and handed me another X-Ray. "And this is what it looked like after."
The second one looked way better than the first. It looked somewhat normal like it should be.
"How am I supposed to walk?" I asked him. He looked at the other nurse who had a pair of crutches in his hands.
"We're gonna have to adjust these to your height." He said. "So we're gonna help you stand up."
I ripped the blankets off me and they helped me stand up. Whenever I moved my leg and my foot it burned. My cast was light green and it was huge!
Once I got my crutches adjusted they helped me practice using them. It was surprisingly easier than I thought would be. I told them thank you and went to see my friends. They were all sitting there reading magazines and they didn't even notice me coming.
"Hey guys!" I yelled and they all jumped from their seats.
Jason ran and hugged me, "you ok?" He asked.
"Yep! They put me to sleep when they did the surgery so I couldn't feel a thing. And I only have to wear the cast for 8 weeks." I told them.
We all got in the car to drive home. My leg started to hurt on the way, but the doctor told me it was normal and it was gonna hurt for a while.

Jason's POV
I knew Piper shouldn't of tried that trick. For some reason, I knew she was gonna get hurt. I don't know why I didn't stop her.
"I'm really sorry, Piper." I said holding her hand even tighter.
"Jason" Piper replied. "It's not your fault. I was stupid even to try that trick."
"Ok. Why don't we just go home and relax. Maybe swim a bit and watch a movie." I said.
"We could order some pizza too." Leo suggested.
Once we got home we changed into some comfortable clothes with our bathing suits. We splashed around for a while until we got a little hungry. Hazel called the pizza delivery guy and got a pepperoni pizza for all of us.

Annabeth's POV
We ate some pizza while watching a scary movie. When we were done, we put on some pj's and went to bed. Well at least everyone else did. I COULD NOT go to sleep and I didn't know why. I tried watching some TV to get me to calm down but it didn't help.

It was about midnight and I still couldn't sleep. I tried everything but nothing worked. So I decided to to go to Percy's room and see if he was asleep. I knocked on the door very lightly so no one else could hear.
"Come in." he said quietly. I'm surprised he actually answered. I opened the door and sat on his bed.
"Can't sleep?" I asked.
"Nope." he replied.
"Me neither. I've been up ever since we've been home from ice skating." I said. I lied down with him for a while and we eventually fell asleep.
