Piper's POV
It was Saturday morning which meant we got to sleep in. In a little while I decided to get up and make eggs. Out of nowhere, there was a slight knock on my door. I got ont of bed and checked who it was. It was Jason.
"Good morning." He said and walked in. I didn't expect him to be up this early. It was about 9:00 in the morning.
"Morning." I replied "What are you doing up?"
He sat on my bed. "I don't know. I just woke up." He said.
I went to make breakfast for everyone and Jason helped me. We made biscuitsp and sausages.
"I'm just warning you that I'm not a very good cook!" He told me.
I flipped the pancake form the pan. "Your fine." I told him as Percy came downstairs. He flopped on the couch and just layed there. "You ok?" I asked him.
He groaned, "no."
I looked at Jason and shrugged. Everyone else came downstairs and sat at the table. Annabeth went to see what Percy was doing. Jason layed the plates on the table and we ate. Percy was still in the couch.
"Are you gonna come eat, Percy?" Annabeth asked.
"In a bit." He replied. He huffed and went upstairs to his room.
"Ok, then!" Hazel said and finished her food.
"Ok." I said. "The plan for today is to go to the park and have a picnic. After that, we can go do something downtown."
Everyone shrugged and finished eating. When we were done, we got ready and left for the park. It took us about 20 minutes to get there.

Annabeth's POV
"Right here's a good place!" Leo said and pointed to a spot on the ground where we could have our picnic. We didn't eat straight away since we just ate breakfast. Instead, we ran around and went for a walk.
"So, Seaweed Brain." I said and nudged Percy. "Why don't we take a walk by our selves?"
He nodded. "Hey guys!" I said. "Percy and I are gonna take a walk alone. Is that ok?"
"Sure. But don't get lost!" Frank said and laughed.
"We won't." Percy said and we started walking the other way.
"Can I ask you something?" Percy said. I nodded.
"Have you noticed that since we've started school, we haven't been spending a lot of time together? You know, as boyfriend and girlfriend?" He said. I felt bad so I hugged him and kissed his cheek.
"I know." I said. We walked in silence after that.

Jason's POV
"Dig in!" I yelled as we began to eat our lunch. We brought sandwiches, apples, crackers, and water bottles. It doesn't sound very good, but it sure did taste good.
We finished eating and began to pack up the rest of the food. We ate most of it so there wasn't a whole lot to pack up.
"So," I said. "What's next for the plan?"  We all shrugged.
"Maybe we can go swim?" Percy said.
Annabeth looked at him, "Really Percy?" She said. "You ALWAYS want to swim. How about we do something else for a change. Ok?"
Percy nodded and made a pouty face. "Fine."
Frank loaded the picnic stuff up in the car while everyone else thought of something to do.
"I have an idea!" Piper said. "Why don't we just go home and relax. We've been gone almost everyday since we've been at school. This could be the time where we can hang out with each other and play a few games."
I liked that idea but I don't know if everyone else did. They all made a not-so-sure face and shrugged. "That seems boring." Leo commented.
"It's just for one day, Leo." Piper said. "Tomorrow we can go out and do something really fun. K?"
Leo nodded and we all agreed. On the ride home, Percy and Hazel fell asleep. They were really tired. We all were, I'm surprised we all didn't fall asleep. Once we got home we woke them up and just hanged out inside the house.
"Does anybody hear that?" I asked as we were sitting on the couch playing truth or dare.
"Hear what?" Percy said. It sounded like something was clawing at the front door.
"Something's outside." Annabeth said and stood up slowly.
Percy stood up after her. "Are you sure it's not a somebody?"
She shook her head, "Nope! It's for sure a something."
I walked closely to the door with Percy who was gripping his sword like he was gonna squeeze the handle off. Frank and the girls were behind us for backup. I very slowly reached for the door handle and turned it. Percy backed up before I could see outside. And then... Blackness
