Mika used her phone and called Jules's mom, Kadee "hello", Mika "hi Kadee, I don't know if you remember me but I'm Jules's girlfriend, I was wondering if I could get your blessing to marry her and ask her to marry me", Kadee "of course you have my blessing, I can see how happy you make my daughter, she's so lucky to have you. So when are you planning on doing this whole proposal", Mika "I was hoping to do it today, I do need an extra set of hands, I was wondering if you could help", Kadee "I'd love to help, when do you need me", Mika "so Jules is taking the girls out on a little shopping trip, and when she leaves I can text you and you can come over and we can start decorating for the proposal", Kadee "okay, I'll be waiting for your text, I'll just be getting ready", Mika "okay", Mika hung up the phone, Jules "me and the girls are leaving, we will be back later. I love you so much", Mika "I love you too", the two of them kissed. Jules and the girls left the house for their little shopping trip, Mika started doing a little bit of cleaning around the house and then unboxed all of the decorations for the proposal, she also texted Kadee to come over to help.

Kadee helped Mika continue to unbox the decorations, Kadee "so tell me something, I see how happy my daughter makes you and how happy you make her. What's your favorite thing about her", Mika "her ability to just make every moment something special, even if it's something bad. A lot of people will take the bad and keep it as bad but she manages to change into something good", Kadee "I never thought about it like that, I love that. So how's life with the girls doing, you know the two of you being parents", Mika "we love being parents, sometimes it's rough and we have to work even harder together than usual but other days it's better", Kadee "being parents could go both ways, it's hard either way. But I can see the way you two love the kids", Mika smiled. The two of them started decorating, Mika "by the way what do you do for a living", Kadee "me, I'm a teacher. An English teacher, I'm the grade team leader of the high school that I work at", Mika "do you work with younger students as well", Kadee "yeah, I actually teach in an after school program with younger students", Mika "that's pretty cool", Kadee "thanks", Mika "is Jules the only child", Kadee "no, I have another daughter she's eleven and I have a son, he's fourteen", Mika "what are their names", Kadee "Jaeden, and Malachi. Do you know when Jules is coming back home", Mika "she's coming after noon", Kadee "okay", the two of them finished decorating for the proposal.
Kadee "it looks really good", Mika "yeah, I hope she likes it", Kadee "she's gonna love it. I know that is". By the time that Jules came back home, Jules "girls go to your room and just put all of the clothes away", Avery "okay mommy", Maya "okay mommy", Madelyn "okay mommy", the girls went to their room, Jules "mom what are you doing here", Kadee "Mika just wanted me to come over and help her do something", Jules "okay", she said hugging her mom, Mika "I have a surprise for you", Jules "okay", Kadee and the girls stood aside while Mika dragged Jules to the room, Jules "what are you doing", Mika "showing you to your surprise".
