A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if nobody believes it.

Being secretly pregnant with the son of Satan himself was difficult, and something I was hiding and trying to deny. I was carrying a being of darkness. A newborn concieved through natural means and the splicing of Dark Magic. I was surprised that my notorious dark wizard had stepped up, somehow becoming like a bodyguard. It was contrary to how I expected. He was nothing like anything I had ever known. My own tiny world within the real world with him, and entirely mine. Terrifying, yet exhilarating. And despite the fear of my new path and the dreams I was getting a new glow and a sparkle to my skin. I was gaining weight, and was now healthier. I was eating better. Sleeping a bit more. I was binded by oath and was now embarking on my new life. I took some comfort in the fact I was now a mother but that was going to be hard to explain to everyone. The secret marriage. All of it. I wondered how I would go about it. I always worked to keep my world hard to decipher but instead as usual creativity bled from me like an open wound, new outlets of self expression opening like portals to a private Hell underground, a place in which I could vent the true darkness of my fires. I thought I would feel blue, but I felt fine. I was at peace now. I worked hard. I was safe. I continued to write, everything was not edited or planned. I never looked back. Stream of consciousness writing was always a hobby of mine, and alone in my anonymous world I had that opportunity. I tried to make myself feel better but everything was becoming darker, and my creativity waned. My new diaries couldn't save my soul from Tom, however. Yet I couldn't write enough. The pain was insufferable, I was sick with baby pains and would wake up in agony. Deep in the darkness of the night I could barely sleep. What had we done? What had I done? Tom took this better than me. He was proud to be a father. He was ever so gracious, kind and understanding. I never knew he would be such a caring family man. I think he was just happy I was trapped forever by his side. By his power I could rest through the night yet even with the snow diamond shining so brightly around my neck it wasn't enough to keep the new darkness at bay. It was inside me. He was inside me. His cursed offspring. It was growing within my womb. I could feel it within me, growing inside me like a serpentine intrusion. How could I have gotten myself into this mess? What was going to happen to me? What other ritualistic abuse from Tom's world did I have to endure?

The next day, somehow, Tom was granted the right to go to Diagon Alley.
He mentioned something about paying for dress robe alterations at Madam Malkins but I knew he was lying. People said he was too prideful and sophisticated to have ever shopped anywhere so low class. Yet he didn't act like how people so narrow mindedly assumed him to be. And their ignorance didn't prevent his power moves and agreements. Smooth, charming and handsome he had become involved in many a business offer in Knockturn Alley amongst several wizarding dealerships, the more notable of which was the likes of magical dark artifact traders Borgin and Burkes. Already he was onto bigger and better things than the normality of Hogwarts. To my surprise he asked me to go along with him, and reluctantly I obliged. I wanted to get out of this School, and clear my head. I wanted to get out of this time completely. If he let me out of his sight, I could go and browse the wizarding shops.

These days, he was even more protective than usual. I was his possession, something he so often told me. A walking power investment now with additional value. He held my hand within his own as he guided the way through the castle. It didn't take us long to get to the portkey, the head of a broken statue of a phoenix laying on a desk in Headmaster Dippets office. A wave of nausea swept over me at the unsubtly of the symbolism. I was looking too deeply into everything. That was Tom's effect in my life.
