In the quiet corners of my mind, Your shadow lingers, unrefined, with every face that passes by.
I don't like that I still compare each laugh, each smile, no one else can take your place.
Yet in each heart I meet, I still seek your sight, your essence remains in fleeting glances. A bittersweet echo that softly pains.
And day by day I am reminded that your memory hangs like a shadowed wall.
And there it hangs, Forevemore.
