Giran steps into the building at the address he was given, and is immediately startled at the sound of a voice.
"Hello! If you're hearing this, you're not supposed to be here. The second you stepped through that door, my security was alerted to your presence. I'd recommend that you turn around and step right out that door you came in." The voice recording warns. It repeats twice, before stopping.
"That was weird. He was the one who invited me here in the first place." Giran says, before turning to look behind him, and discovering that the 'door' he stepped through was, in actuality, a portal. One that is currently blocking the actual doorway, preventing him from getting an idea of where he actually is. Deciding not to think too much about it, he decides to continue into the building.
Eventually, he reaches a big, open area. In the center of it is a statue of a fuzzy, tall, blue... thing. If anything, it looks like an oversized kids toy. "Creepy." Giran thinks aloud. "Wonder why he built that thing, let alone put it there."
He picks a random hallway to wander down. When he finds nothing but locked doors and a dead end, he turns back, spotting one of the thing from the plaza's arms slippng into the only unlocked room when he does so. Not wanting to contend with the idea that the thing, whatever it is, is somehow alive and following him, Giran pushed it to the back of his mind and marks it as a stress-induced hallucination. Which becomes harder to do when, when he gets back to the plaza, the thing is gone.
"What the-!? Where's it go!?!?" He shouts, suddenly on his toes, before forcing himself to calm down. "No, no, it's not alive, it's not following me. It just got randkmly removed while I was in tha hallway. Probably got lowered into the floor using some mechanism that Dr. Deku put together." He decides, before picking another hallway to go down.
This hallway, he does find something interesting. For one, there's an unexpected set of bathrooms similar to the ones you'd find at a store, restaurant, or tourist attraction. For another, there's a gift shop filled with an assortment of sodas, candies, and kids toys. None of which he recognizes, and all of which are branded with the logo of a company called "Playtime co", which he has also never heard of.
"Wonder why he has this here, or at all." He says, before grabbing a 'Play-cola' from the cooler and taking a drink. Immediately, he lowers it and stares at in shock. "This is actually pretty good." He says, surprised. "Wouldn't've expected an engineer/biologist like him would be able to make good cola, too."
He turns to leave the gift shop, but freezes when he realizes that there's a second hallway leading out of the gift shop aside from just the one he used to enter. Shrugging, he decides to go down the second hallway. As he walks down the hallway, though, he freezes in fright as the same statue from the plaza steps into the hallway from the far end and begins approaching him, with a wide open mouth filled with far too many razor-sharp teeth.
"Huggy, stand down." A girl's voice says suddenly. "He's Dr. Deku's guest, he's supposed to be here."
Instantly, the monster freezes, before closing its mouth and moving to a standing position.
"Sorry about him!" The girl who spoke says as she steps out from behind the now-named Huggy's back. "He's our primary security officer, it's his job to apprehend anyone who breaks in." Suddenly, she turns a stern eye to Huggy. "Apprehend, not eat, Huggy." She reminds it. "When we finally open up, anything up to the plaza and the rooms in the hallways connected to it will be open to the public, which is why he didn't make a move on you until now. This hallway is supposed to be exclusively an exit-hallway leading out of the part of the building that you have to pay to access, which is why he finally made a move." She explains. "Now, you follow me, while Huggy returns to his post."
