SPECIAL CHAPTER I

THE F4

"Are you sure this is okay?"

When her friend said he knew someone who could help with her powers, the girl did not expect to find herself climbing up a building with the help of said super powered individual.

"Don't worry about Ness. I do it all the time. We'll be fine."

"Isn't this technically breaking and entering?"

"Technically yes." Spider-man responds. "But not here. These guys are practically family. I'm always welcomed here." He nonchalantly says as they sneak in to the building.

"Why are we sneaking of the back door then?" Ness questions.

"Because their door man is very hard to get past."

"Ookay then."

"Relax Ness. I got this."

Just as he finishes his sentence, an alarm blares around them.

"Intruder alert! Intruder alert!"

The pair freezes on the spot.

"That's new."

When they reach their destination, the pair is met by a flaming figure.

Before they are scorched to death, Spider-Man shouts,

"Woah hey! It's just me!"

"Spidey?" The figure questions, flames going out.

"You've never been one to use the front door or call ahead, have you Pete?"

"What can I say?"

"Your friends are the Fantastic Four?!?" Ness says, mouth hanging slightly open.

"I tend to have that effect on people."

"The one and only in the flesh." The human torch says, dramatically curtsying at his introduction. 

"You should've started with that." Ness says, smacking Peter's arm.

Way to make a first impression.

"And who might your friend be?"

"This is Ness. We're actually here to see if you guys can help us."

"Lovely to meet you Ness," The Human Torch says, "The names Johnny Storm."

"Welcome, to the Baxter building!"

The girl's face flushes red as he sends a wink her way.

It does not go unnoticed by her friend. Peter will definitely tease her about it later.

"You are just in luck then," Ben says, "Reed just came back for a mission."

"That's great!"

"Let's see what we can do for your friend. Follow me."
