You groaned as you blinked against the harsh light filtering through your bedroom curtains. Your head pounded like a drum, and your mouth felt like you had swallowed cotton. You forced yourself to sit up, groggy and disoriented. The memories of last night were hazy at best—a whirlwind of music, drinks, and... Kai'Sa.

You turned your head slightly and saw her curled up beside you, sleeping soundly. She was still completely naked, her unblemished skin basking in the sunlight, her curves on full display. Her deep violet hair was messy, but her face was serene, a small smile lingering on her lips as if she was having a pleasant dream.

Despite the hangover wrecking your body, you couldn't help but smile weakly. Even through the haze, you could remember the heat, the passion between you—the way she had pulled you through the party, the kisses in the elevator, the laughter in the cab, the way she had clung to you as if she never wanted to let go. And of course, the intense passion that followed. The thought alone made your face heat up.

But as you were reminiscing on the previous night, and admiring Kai'sas sleeping form, reality hit you like a freight train. Your stomach churned violently, and you bolted out of bed, nearly tripping over your own feet as you stumbled into the bathroom. You barely made it before you were hunched over the toilet, emptying your stomach.

It took a few minutes before the nausea subsided. You rested your forehead against the cool tiled wall, groaning. "Never drinking that much again," you muttered to yourself.

After freshening up and splashing cold water on your face, you wobbled back into the bedroom. Kai'Sa was still asleep, her breathing slow and steady. You didn't want to wake her just yet, so you put on yome pants and a shirt, which you left open, keeping your chest out for the breeze. You made your way to the kitchen, deciding to make breakfast for both of you.

As you worked, the smell of sizzling eggs and buttered toast filled the penthouse. You weren't a master chef, but you could whip up something decent enough. Your head still throbbed, but the routine of cooking helped ground you. You poured yourself a glass of water, chugging it down in an attempt to ease your dehydration.

A soft yawn caught your attention. You turned to see Kai'Sa standing at the kitchen entrance, stretching her arms above her head. She wore your oversized shirt, which hung off one of her shoulders, revealing smooth skin, and her eyes were still laced with sleep, but they brightened when she saw you. She looked beautiful, and with your momentarily stunned expression she blushed slightly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," you teased, though your voice was still a little rough.

Kai'Sa giggled and padded over to you, wrapping her arms around your waist from behind, and inhaling deeply. "Good morning," she murmured against your back, her voice soft and affectionate. She clung to you like a koala, her warmth comforting. her hands roamed across your abs greedily.

You chuckled, despite himself. "Not hungover at all, huh?"

"Nope," she said cheerfully, nuzzling into you. "Unlike you, I actually know how to pace myself."

"Yeah, yeah, rub it in," you grumbled, flipping the eggs onto two plates.

She slid onto one of the barstools at the counter, watching you with an expression you couldn't quite place. There was something in her gaze—something warm, tender, almost reverent. It made your chest tighten.

As you both ate, Kai'Sa continued to be unusually clingy, scooting her chair closer to yours, lightly brushing her fingers over your arm whenever she got the chance. She played with the rings on your fingers, tracing patterns on your wrist absentmindedly.
