Arriving in the Philippines is soooo—
"Hot," Draken cut Mikey off before he could finish, fanning himself with his shirt.
"OH DAMN, KENCHIN!!!" Mikey-kun yelled, his voice echoing through the terminal like he was trying to start a concert.
A few passengers turned to look at us—some annoyed, others just confused.
"Please have some respect, we're in the airport," Draken sighed, rubbing his temple.
Mikey pouted. "Why is he acting like a dad, Takemichi?" He nudged me with his elbow, grinning.
I gave him an awkward laugh and kept walking, trying my best to ignore the stares we were getting.
"Yaz said the car is near Gate 2. Should we wait for her, or just go first?" I asked, looking around.
"Where is Yaz, by the way?"
"She went to the comfort room," Baji answered, stretching his arms.
"Aight."
Just as I said that, a loud BANG echoed from the baggage claim area, followed by frantic shouting.
A suitcase came flying. Someone tripped over it. An airport cart tipped over, sending luggage crashing to the floor.
Chaos. Absolute chaos.
Mikey's eyes sparkled. "OH? A fight?"
Before anyone could stop him, he took off running straight toward the commotion.
"OI! MIKEY! DON'T—" Draken groaned, already regretting everything.
Baji, seeing an opportunity, grinned. "This is getting interesting!" and ran after him.
I felt my soul leave my body. "GUYS, NO! WE'RE GONNA GET DEPORTED!!!"
I looked at Chifuyu for backup, but he just shook his head, already accepting his fate.
And just like that, our first five minutes in the Philippines turned into a disaster.
Yaz’s POV
I had just finished washing my hands when I heard a loud crash from outside the comfort room. The kind of crash that instantly screamed, "Your friends are up to something stupid."
I sighed, wiping my hands on a tissue before stepping out. Please, let it not be them.
The moment I walked into the terminal, I was greeted by pure chaos.
A suitcase was rolling across the floor. An airport cart was tipped over, luggage spilled everywhere. A man was on the ground, holding his knee like he had just been tackled. Airport security was rushing in, and—
There. Right in the middle of it.
Mikey, pointing at something and laughing. Baji, looking way too excited. Takemichi, pale as a ghost. Draken, already rubbing his temples in frustration. Chifuyu? He just looked done with life.
And me? I was this close to walking back into the comfort room and pretending I didn’t know them.
I took a deep breath, marched toward them, and crossed my arms. "What. The. Hell. Did. You. Guys. Do?"
Takemichi snapped his head toward me like I was his last hope. "YAZ! HELP! THEY'RE GONNA GET US DEPORTED!"
I didn’t even get the chance to react before a security guard approached, eyeing us suspiciously.
"Is everything alright here?" the officer asked, glancing at Mikey and Baji, who looked way too guilty for my liking.
Mikey grinned. "Yeah, yeah! Just a misunderstanding!"
I wanted to strangle him.
"Misunderstanding?!" I hissed, lowering my voice. "What did you do?!"
Baji, still grinning, leaned in. "We may have… accidentally started a little chaos."
I pinched the bridge of my nose. "We have been in this country for LESS THAN TEN MINUTES, and you already started a mess?!"
Takemichi was practically vibrating in fear. "Yaz, please, fix this before we end up in an interrogation room!"
I turned back to the security officer, forcing the most innocent smile I could manage. "Sorry about this, sir. My friends are just... very excited to be here. We’ll be on our way now."
The officer raised an eyebrow but nodded. "Just keep it down. This is an airport, not a playground."
As soon as he walked away, I turned to the group. "MOVE. NOW. BEFORE YOU GUYS GET US BLACKLISTED FROM THE COUNTRY."
Mikey just laughed, completely unfazed. "Chill, Yaz! That was fun!"
I swore I could feel a headache forming.
And this was only the start of our trip
