Chu

Chu had no idea what was happening in the outside world, and didn't care as long as Kyuri was okay. She could sense his state of being thanks to their link, so she wasn't worried. Kyuri wanted to grow stronger to defeat a new enemy, so a little bit of pain while getting stronger, as she'd learned, was normal. So she would only send her encouragement until her barrier reacted.

See, her barrier can actively measure how much 'life' Kyuri has. That is how she tells when he's sparring and when he's in an actual battle. His fights with the prideful one he called 'Bitch Prince' were spars, serious, but not with lives on the line.

If the enemy was too much for him, her barrier would protect him. Then, she'd proceed to devour the enemy in ki, mind, body, and soul for daring to hurt what was hers.

Simple.

But for now, there was no need to worry about that. She would not be left alone in the universe. Her brother was with her now, even if he was sealed in this... thing.

This item her brother was in had hundreds of protection seals and adverse magicks on it. It was designed to keep him sedated as well as keep her out.

"Stupid bug." While she hated him with her entire being, Chu had to admit he'd been smart-ish when it came to casting his magic. He must have been planning this for a long time for it to be this detailed. Bibidi, while a weak piece of filth, knew magic well.

Not more than her, but he'd done good with this seal. Buu was in a state of suspense until he was free, but how was Chu to get him free? She needed to study the seal. That would take a while.

"NO! CHU WANNA SEE BUU NOW!" She kicked the seal, though all it did was tumble. Angry and disappointed, she huffed and puffed for a full three minutes. It was just one problem after another with her brother.

She was so going to punch Buu when she got him out.

She let all of her magic and ki flow to her closed eyes and saturate her mindscape. Enhancing all of her senses, she reached for the seal with her energies, coating the entire thing with it. It was several times her size, but it only took a few moments to encase the strange orb fully.

"[Djinn-Sen]"

When she opened her eyes, they were an eerie white, glowing against the darkness of her chosen cave. Black rings marked where her pupils were, and they rapidly roamed Buu's prison.

Djinn-Sen, or Djinn Sense, is a sense skill that is more in-depth than the general sensing of ki or magic. It is an active focus skill used a bit like an appraisal of certain things, enabling Chu to scan things to the extreme.

It is a stressful skill, however, which is why she rarely ever uses it. She had to genuinely focus, so she wouldn't be able to check in on Kyuri as she used it.

That didn't sit right with her. But she needed to understand how all of Bibidi's convoluted magic seals reacted to her. What made it tick? How can she break it down? Nothing she initially tried worked effectively, and she didn't want to be apart from Buu longer than she had to.

So, she continued to focus. She shifted her mana and energy through every nook and cranny of the bug's seal on her brother. He'd added hundreds of layers to it, twisting them around and folding them over. A cautious bug, but no one was better than her with magic things.

One day went by.

Then two, then three.

Finally, on the fourth day, she stopped. She'd figured out everything she needed. What she found, however, was less than pleasing.
