RILEY
My fingers franticly fly over the keys. Hi mum, can I stay out a little longer? I'll walk home when I'm ready :p xx. Send. Cool bananas. I turn to Oliver, swaying awkwardly to the faint music coming from behind the counter. I giggle at his moves as he holds out his hand and we waltz out of Starbucks. We walk in silence on the bright side of the road till Oliver gestures to me to sit down on a green painted wooden bench. I sit without hesitation, he sits down next to me and digs his hand into the depths of is pockets.
Oliver pulls out a beautiful ( expensive looking ) copper box and hands it over to me. "Don't open it yet" he says.
"Okay?"
"Okay" I tell him smiling.
"Let's go" he grabs my hand and my walk homewards. No worries or troubles. I like it like that. I don't want the walk home to end. But, unfortunately, like all great days, they all have to end eventually.
