It was weeks since you met the blond haired boy, and you did everything in your power to educate yourself on who exactly he was. According to San, his name was Sata Kyouya, and was known for being a charming, kind individual that all the girls adored. It was true, trying to get through to him in the sea of females was no easy task, and just like them, you were affected by his charisma.

During school, you'd see him here and there, but there seemed to be a radiant glow from his status that prevented you from ever approaching him. That one day was just an exception, and you wondered if life could make more exceptions.

You sighed. It would've been smart just to give up on the entire idea of him by now. You hadn't spoken to him since the first day, and the chances of him noticing you were futile.

You stopped when the traffic light turned a glaring red, signaling the cars to pass while you waited in the crowd of strangers. You scanned the proximity with half lidded eyes, boredom seeping through your gaze – but then a pair of red eyes caught your attention. There he was – Sata Kyouya, only a few feet away! He seemed to be talking to another taller boy, and their conversation would result in them being in place for just a few more minutes. Yes! You could catch up to him now, and maybe strike a conversation, and then maybe just –

"WATCH OUT!" you heard behind, and the crowd around you dispersed.

There was no time for you to process the warning, but you fully understood what it meant once the sight of a car driving at the speed of something that was obviously not legal – came to your line of vision, and before you knew it, the entire world around you seemed to be screaming.

You suppose this is how it would end, after all, the angle of the car's direction was directed to none other than you, and driving at the speed of that, there was no way you could survive. You could hear the engine of the car coming closer and closer, so close that you could smell the burnt rubber from the tires – so close you could feel your heart pounding in your chest. And then it happened.

It all happened so fast. A warm, tender embrace whisked you away, and for a moment you could finally breathe, before a deafening noise echoed throughout the city as the car collided straight into a building.

"What... just happened?" was all you could say.

Bright lights and sirens surrounded the area within minutes, and it was only until you felt a warm breath tickle your ear that you snapped back to reality.

"Do you enjoy being in my arms?" an unsettling voice whispered, sending chills straight to your core.

On instinct you knew whoever saved your life happened to also be a master at being a creep. You ripped yourself from the embrace and faced the offender with an accusing glare.

"That's not a very nice way to treat someone who just saved your life."

Sata!

You softened your gaze, remembering his past actions.

"Sata... Kyouya?" you said hesitantly, earning a look of surprise from the blond boy.

"You know my name?" he glanced down at your uniform for an explanation. "I see. You go to my school."

"Don't you remember me?" the words slipped out so fast, you were too embarrassed to retrieve them back.

"I... don't think so," he blatantly said, shattering your hope.

"That's... fine, then," you lied, clutching the handle of your bag. "Thank you for saving me. That was too kind, but I think I should get going now..."

"Not so fast," he prompted. You halted in you steps. "You owe me something, don't you think?"

"W-what?" his face leaned in closer, giving you a clear view of his sudden intimidating gaze.

His hand reached to your chin and lifted it up, meeting your gaze. Your heartbeat pounded in your ears and you could barely make a sound. What is he trying to do?

The guy spoke. "From now on," he said, the aura around him creeping darker, his smile stretching into an annoyed growl, and his gaze looking effortlessly less appealing than before.

"You can be my dog."
