𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐡 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧, 𝐛𝐮𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝...~𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞-𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚

𝐌𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 I tried to balance upon a bathroom step for toddlers and a laundry basket. "Fuck sake cmon." I huffed as I tried to get myself high enough to reach the tiny bathroom window. After many wobbles, curses and near crashes I finally managed to find a brief bit of balance. Finally, I lit my cigarette and started blowing smoke out the minuscule window. When Dad and Amanda invited Tory and I to come for dinner, I knew things would be difficult for a multitude of reasons. The obvious ones were trying to remain civil when I felt an internal struggle to just act like a family with the LaRusso's, acting like I adore fish (in reality it's just okay but Dad loves serving up little Japanese dishes) and the big one pretending I was interesting in college. But then there was also this one, figuring out how to smoke without them noticing.

Both Daniel and Amanda constantly complained about my smoking, showing their disapproval and continued to remind me of the negative effects of it like I was unaware. I always brushed it off though. Sure, originally I started smoking here and there to try be cool which was back in the days before Cobra Kai had changed my life, then I thought that it added to the badass vibe that Johnny brought out of me. But now it just sort of helped to numb my feelings, just for a little while. If it meant having a crafty smoke to get me through a dinner, so be it. A soft knock on the door broke me from my thoughts, shit. I quickly threw my cigarette out the window. "Who is it?" I called out. "Iz, it's me babe, you okay?" Tory asked me. I hopped down from my makeshift ladder and answered the door, letting my girlfriend in.

Instantly Tory pulled me closer and smelt the smoke on my breath, "How naughty, you're not playing by daddy's rules." She taunted me. I chuckled softly, "Since when have I ever believed in rules?" I joked, pulling her closer. "Except yours devil." I husked in her ear before nipping it. Tory let out a gentle gasp and caressed my cheek. "I know you probably don't want to talk about it Iz but..Are you going to tell them?" Tory gently asked me. She was the only one I'd confided in besides Johnny about getting expelled. I mean after everything how could I keep a secret like that from T? "I don't want to upset them darling. I'm finally getting into a good place with them, can we forget it?" I half wondered, half confessed. Tory kissed my lips gently, "Whatever you want, that's what we'll do." I smiled, squeezed her and popped a mint before we headed back out towards the dining table.
