It was nighttime. Riley and Wonwoo had went back home after talking with her parents.

They had entered the house and the ride to go back to the house was silent. Riley was in deep thought of everything.

There was no bad blood anymore between them two but Wonwoo could see the hesitation in her face to speak up about something during the drive in the car.

After they entered, Wonwoo had put on the lamp in the living room, not really putting much light visible and Riley just went to sit on the couch while his eyes followed her.

It was late evening and they were going to go to sleep but there was still some things to talk about before they could start a new day and Wonwoo felt it.

Riley was on the couch and she was silent. She was thinking about the conversation she had with his mom and wondered if she mentioned it to him or not.

She asked herself whether or not if he knew, would he be angry or anything else if she mentions her decision about wanting to go to court.

As he was leaning against the wall, he kept his gaze on her. He felt that something was on her chest and she needed to talk about it.

He saw how her gaze was fixed on the floor and that her fingers were intertwining but they were shaking, which made him raise his brow, asking why she was acting this way.

Yet, everything was back to normal. They didn't hate each other anymore and they even had a nice evening at her parents so what made her like this is such a short span of time?

She was nervous and he was curious into what was on her mind. He pushed himself from the wall and walked his way to her with his hands in his front pocket.

"You alright?" He asked softly while putting sitting himself next to her on the couch. He looked at her and saw how her reaction flinched from him for a split second and she said "Huh?" which was above a whisper.

He didn't seem worried or whatever but he was just interested into what was making her think. "You seem distracted"

She looked at him, with her lips slightly apart and tried to say something but she didn't find the words.

Her gaze went back to the floor and she shifted in her seat with her fingers still intertwined but she was starting to pick the tip of her nails.

"I'm still processing everything" she said quietly while he kept his look on her and his face was impassive. However, he brought his hand on top of hers, to prevent her from continuing to fear something.

She looked back at him and he did the same and spoke up. "It's understandable. You can talk to me if you want"

He squeezed her hand and brought himself closer saying "That's what I'm here for. It's my job" he said smiling lightly which made her heart warm at his words. She was still nervous to bring the topic up but she didn't feel pressured but rather supported and reassured.

She brought herself to smile like him and said "I know" she said as a whisper and her smile dropped but not drastically.

"It's hard to take it all in within a day" she continued to speak and he nodded his head. "It's not easy that's all" she then ended her phrase while he answered saying "It's better to let it all out"

His voice then dropped into almost a whisper "You can talk to me"

She still hesitated somehow to speak her mind. His hand on top of hers, was reassuring and she knows that he cares about her but she was still trying to gain composure on everything that happened.

"Something is on your mind Riley. I can see it in your eyes and movements"

Those words from him made her breath hitch. She wasn't expecting that from him. She pinched her nose and mouth for a split second saying "It's that obvious?"
