Mumbai Mansion –
A grand mansion in Mumbai shimmered with warmth as it prepared to welcome loved ones. The air carried the scent of fresh flowers, their petals scattered like whispers of joy across the marble floors. In the center of it all stood Adhrika, her delicate hands carefully placing decorations, her face lit with anticipation.
Just then, a voice interrupted her moment.
"Aap ye kya kar rahi hai?" (What are you doing?)
She turned to find Agastya standing there, his gaze flickering between her and the basket of flowers she held.
"Nothing... mere behene aa rahi hai, toh bas ghar ko saja rahi hoon," (Nothing... my sisters are coming, so I am just decorating the house), she replied with uncontainable excitement.
Agastya sighed, stepping forward to take the basket from her hands.
"Aap mat kariye... main servants se keh dunga. Waise bhi, maine saare servants isliye rakhe hain, taki aap logon ko kaam na karna pade," (You don’t need to do this... I'll tell the servants. That’s why I hired them, so you don’t have to do anything), he reasoned.
But Adhrika wasn’t the one to back down easily. She tightened her grip on the basket and pulled it towards herself.
"I know, but main apne haathon se karna chahti hoon," (I know, but I want to do it with my own hands), she said softly, determination in her voice.
Agastya narrowed his eyes.
"Rikaa..." (Rikaa…), he warned.
She raised an eyebrow and met his glare with equal intensity.
"Agastya..." she shot back.
Before their silent battle could continue, a loud, excited voice echoed through the hall.
"ADHIIIIIIIIII!!!!!"
Adhrika's heart skipped a beat. She turned towards the entrance, only to see Adhya running towards her like a storm, fury in her eyes.
"ADHIIII KI BACCHI!!!" (Adhiii, you idiot!!!)
Her elder sister looked ready to smack her, anger evident in every step she took. But while Adhya was raging, Shridha stood behind her, laughing uncontrollably.
Tears welled in Adhrika’s eyes, but they weren’t of fear—they were of happiness.
"Diii..." (Sister…) she whispered, her voice breaking.
She ran towards Adhya, arms wide open, and in an instant, they embraced tightly. The warmth of her sister's arms made her heart feel full again.
Meanwhile, Ridhanvi reached Shridha, pulling her into a tight hug.
