"Do you want to divorce me?" She asked.
"No."
"You didn't even hesitate."

“Ishaan?” He turned around and found his mother calling you. He walked towards her and greeted her.
“Where were you?” She asked him. “Just taking care of some amends. Why? Did you need anything?”
“Yes, come with me.” They went to her room. His mother sat down on the bed, while Ishaan took the chance to drink water.
“Have you heard about your father's latest idiocy?” She questioned him. Ishaan shook his head.
“He wants to ask for Alizeh's hand. You know Alia's sister.” Ishaan nodded.
“I don't understand him. Some hours ago, he wanted Adeel to marry his friend's daughter, and now he has changed his mind completely. What do you think?”
“What do I think about the proposal?” Ishaan asked. His mother nodded. “I think it's good. She comes from a well-respected family, and she seems to have a good personality.” Ishaan tried to sound casual. He didn't add the fact that Adeel would be delighted by the thought.
“Rukhsar was also trying to convince me. Well, we will see. I wanted to talk about something else, too.” “What is it?”
“Tell Kamari to take care of the chores.” Ishaan frowned. “Ami, we have servants for that.”
“I know, we have servants. I am not asking her to do everything. I am just asking her to make sure the servants work properly. As this house's daughter-in-law she should start.” Ishaan nodded.
“And tell her she will go with me tomorrow to the mall.” Ishaan nodded. “And how are things with her family? Are they coming to Danish's wedding?”
Ishaan hesitated to answer. Her family hasn't talked to her in a while after that argument. Her sister would call Kamari every two days, and her mother would greet her too. But her father didn't want to.
“It's complicated.” Ishaan answered. “Well, tell her to inform her family that we will be stopping by tomorrow. It's better if I personally invite them.” Ishaan nodded with a smile. His mother has accepted Kamari.
“Now go.” “Good night.” Ishaan nodded and left towards his room.
When he entered his room, Kamari was nowhere to be seen. He frowned, not understanding. The dholki has already ended. Where was she?
“Hello.” He turned around and saw her entering with a tray. He took it from her hands, placing it on the table. Kamari closed the door.
Ishaan immediately wrapped his arms around her, and she let him. He breathed in, calming his heartbeat. Now, he was at peace.
“Guess what?” He asked, moving his head away from her neck. “What?”
“Ami has accepted you.” She pushed him away just to look at him to understand if he was joking or not.
