"I didn't take them permanently, don't worry."

"Give them back."

"It'll be over in five minutes. Though I'll be long gone by then, I assume."

"Oh, is that your plan?"

"Yes."

"...go ahead then."

He looked confused by Y/n's words.

"You- what? You want me to use your wings?"

"I want you to try to use them."

"Okay..?"

He flapped his wings, and nothing happened.

"I built up muscle and endurance and trained until I bled. You can't just start flying just because you have wings and a halo. How stupid could you be?"

As soon as Y/n said that, he took a hard punch to the jaw. He tried to catch himself with his wings that he didn't have and had to let Todoroki catch him.

They ended up running and didn't get the headbands back. Before long, Y/n's wings returned.

"Alright... okay, we can recover from this. We can fix this, I- I can-"

"Y/n, stop."

His wings were drooping. He looked up at Momo.

"Why is this so important to you? Winning would be great, but you're obsessed with it."

"Because I am."

"Tell me."

"It isn't your business!"

She was a bit shocked by Y/n's outburst.

"Well... if you don't want to tell me, that's fine. But you would feel better if-"

"I feel fine."

She sighed and nodded.

Later on, Y/n was flying above everyone. He was looking for people that were vulnerable, alone, or just weak.

Eventually, he spotted Shoji, with no other teammates. He swooped down and flew a few feet off the ground, next to him.

"Hey, Shoji."

"Hey."

"Where's your team?"

He opened his arms to reveal Asui and Mineta on his back. They started attacking Y/n, who struggled back to his team.

"That didn't go as planned."

"We need to attack Midoriya now. Time is running out, and who knows how much longer we have."

"Y/n, maybe-"

"No. We have to. Shoto, use your quirk to shield us from any attacks, kaminari, use yours to neutralize anyone who tries to bother us, and Yayorozu, use yours to make insulated armor to protect us from kaninari's quirk."

Everyone stayed in their places for a few seconds before Y/n yelled at them to go.

"All you guys have to do is make sure I can get the headband. I'll fly above everyone so no one can reach it, and let the clock run down."

The team caught Izuku before long, and Shoto surrounded the two teams with ice, acting as a mini arena.

"Hey, what happened to Iida being on your team?"
