As soon as they heard those words, Bakugo made a beeline for the stairs.

"Hey!"

"I'll go with him, Iida. You stay here and guard the weapon, I'll be back soon."

He tried to stop Y/n from leaving with Bakugo, but it wasn't long before he was alone.

Y/n quietly followed Bakugo in the meantime.

"Bakugo. Hey, this is a bad idea -"

"Shut it and go hang out with four eyes, feathers."

"Rude."

"I can handle myself in a fight."

"That's the problem, we don't want you fighting! They should run down the timer by trying to find us, and then we hold them off-"

"Get lost."

"Come make me, pomeranian boy."

Before the two could get into a fight, they heard voices down the hall.

"Careful, there are a lot of blind spots."

"Deku."

"Bakugo, don't -"

He charged at the two, sending an explosion in their direction. It hit Midoriya, and Y/n had to cover his mouth to stay quiet. He didn't want to be caught in the middle of that fight.

"Uraraka, you okay?"

"I'm fine. Thanks!"

She looked over at him. His mask was destroyed, and half of his vace was visible now.

"Oh! Deku!"

"It's just my mask."

They heard bakugo and gasped.

"What's the matter, Deku? Afraid to stand up and fight me?"

"I knew you'd come at me first. And figured you'd try to catch me by surprise."

Y/n was knocked back slightly by another blast, and Uruaka looked right at him.

"Deku! Look!"

Bakugo knew exactly what they were talking about and blasted them again while Y/n made his escape.

"I won't hurt you so bad!"

But when he looked up, only Deku was still there. Uruaka had slipped past him and was following Y/n, who had just reached the floor Iida was on.

"L/n, where's bakugo?"

"They saw me. He's fighting Midoriya, but I think Uruaka followed me."

He perched himself on top of the dented weapon, and they stared at the opening.
