Y/n didn't know how, but he knew this was the man who started the fire. He spoke in a rough voice.

"Found you."

And, in an instant, Y/n was on his feet, running as fast as his legs would carry him. He felt the heat, and his feathers were burning and falling out.

"Get back here, runt!"

He barely missed a blast to the head, encouraging Y/n forward. Just as he was catching up, Y/n was yanked to the side by someone he couldn't see.

"Hey, let me go-!"

His mouth was covered, and Dabi walked right by the two.

Y/n was slightly shocked, since it seemed like he hadn't seen them.

Once it was safe, he was let go. He turned, and saw a guy with pitch black skin and white hair.

"Sorry about that. I'm Shihai Kuroiro."

"L/n Y/n. Nice to meet you. And, uh, thanks for that. I don't know if I would have gotten away."

"It's no big deal. It's what anyone would do."

"Well, I mean, I could have gotten away if I was able to fly, but there's no room in here."

"Right. Well, camp is back that way. I'm going to stick around and help people get back."

"Wait, I can help too."

"Two things. One, you shouldn't be out here if it's you they're after. And two, you seem to have some issues you should work through."

"I do not!"

"Just go."

He sighed and crossed his arms, then walked back towards the camp. Just before he did, he saw a group of villains and ducked into some bushes, covering his halo.

"...where are the brats?"

"Who are we after, anyways?"

"That angel kid that was at the USJ, and Bakugo, the angry one."

"Why those two?"

"He wants Bakugo for his quirk."

"And the other kid?"

"Revenge."

The guy got a cruel grin that sent shivers down Y/n's spine. The villains walked away, and he bolted for the camp.

As soon as he made it, he ran to the nearest hero, being tiger, words coming out of his mouth a mile a minute.

"They- revenge- Bakugo-"

"Hey, slow down. Breathe, what's going on?"

He put a steady hand on Y/n's shoulder.

"They're here for us... for Bakugo and me..."

Y/n was shaking horribly. He could still see the creepy smile ingrained in his head.

"Okay, you're coming with me. I'll have ragdoll bring the other kid."

He led Y/n away from the group. Too far away for comfort.

"Uh... tiger..? Where are we going..?"

"Somewhere safe."

They walked in silence for a bit longer, before tiger stopped in the middle of a clearing. All of the alarms in Y/n's head were going off, but Tiger was a hero, and had more authority than he did, so he stayed put.

Suddenly, Tiger shifted and turned into a little blonde girl, just barely taller than Y/n.

"What-"

He was cut off as someone grabbed him from behind. He struggled, but felt something hit him on the head, before he passed out.

Y/n woke up, his wings bound and his body chained to a chair, a seal placed on his chest to stunt his powers.

"Huh..."

He struggled to lift his head, feeling a dull, throbbing pain on the back of his head.

As soon as it set in that he was chained up, he started thrashing around, desperately trying to break free.

"I wouldn't do that.if I were you."

A creepy, scratchy voice came from somewhere behind him. A hand came up around his throat, one finger lifted. He instantly realized who it was and froze.

"Oh, remember me, huh? I remember you. You destroyed my Nomu."

"What?"

"The killing machine I designed to be able to rival all might. It was a prototype, and you tore it to shreds to save your precious teacher."

His eyes flicked to the scar on Y/n's cheek.

"Ah, I remember giving you that. You'll wish it was just a scar when I'm done with you."

He turned and walked towards the door.

"Don't go anywhere."
