According to a reliable anonymous source, BTS' Jeon Jungkook and Blackpink's Rosé have reportedly split after almost three months of dating.
Their public relationship began after a photo of the pair kissing on a vacation in Madrid, Spain was leaked, and their respective companies confirmed the news a few hours later.
The two idols were open about their romance, not shying away from answering questions on interviews and having very public dates. And so, many are shocked and surprised, especially because Jungkook was just seen enjoying the Blackpink concert in Seoul with the rest of BTS two weeks ago.
The source did not disclose the reason for their supposed split, but says they had a mature and amicable dissolute as Rosé embarks on a year-long world tour.
BigHit and YG Entertainment have yet to comment on the rumours, but several news outlets speculate it to be true.
Park Chaeyoung sighed as she finished reading the news article. She put her phone back into her pocket before joining the rest of the girls on stage to do their soundcheck.
They were now more than a week into their tour and have done three shows so far at three different cities in the United States. Now, they were currently in Canada.
She woke up that morning with dread, knowing that today was the day of their breakup announcement.
Jungkook and her have been in constant communication since the day she left. He always updated her on what he was doing, along with a good morning and goodnight text everyday. She appreciated the reassurance it gave her, especially amongst the sea of uncertainty they were about to face. He even sent a comforting message as soon as the article was released.
"Hey, are you okay?" Jisoo quietly asked as she came into her view.
Chaeyoung simply nodded in response before turning her head to greet the small crowd. The fans who purchased VIP and soundcheck tickets were sat in the front seats. She thought it best to not have this kind of conversation in front of them. Thank god she was wearing sunglasses, they wouldn't be able to see her sad expression.
"How are you guys today?" Lisa asked into the mic.
A series of incoherent yells and exclamations illuminated from the audience. Their positive energy was enough to make her smile.
