Football Captain (Hayes Grier/Magcon Boys)

Chapter Two

Hayes sat at the table, and Shawn nodded at Jessie who left them. Hayes sighed and saw three people walked in, one wearing a helmet and baggy clothes.

"Okay, this is the try outs for our new kicker, okay so we need to make sure you know how to run fast, tackle, and most importantly kicking the ball." Hayes said as Shawn nodded and Hayes walked back at the table. The boys started to do the things, and Hayes just watch them boredly.

Cameron came over, holding Nash's hand and Nash handed Hayes a drink.

"Any luck?" Cameron asked as they sat down.

"No, but they can do the things, but all we need to do now is the kicking." Hayes said as Cameron nodded. Hayes stood up and walked over. He place the ball on the stand and he pointed at the bulku guy, and he ran up and kicked the ball. It landed in fron of the goal and Hayes shook his head. He pulled out another ball and placed it on the stand, and he pointed at the skinny boy and he ran up and kicked the ball, he made the goal and Hayes nodded slowly. He placed the ball and he nodded at the guy wearing the helmet and he ran up and kicked the ball. The ball passed the goal and landed in the parking lot, hitting a car.

Hayes dropped his jaw, and Shawn smirked. Cameron stood up and ran down towards the field. Hayes looked at the player and the player placed his hand on his hip.

"What's your name?" Hayes asked him, as he took off his helmet, and Hayes dropped his jaw as long curly blonde hair flowed on the shoulders of the player, her brown eyes met his, and she smirked causing one of her dimples to show.

"Emma." She said as Hayes looked at Cameron. Jessie ran down and hugged Emma.

"You was awesome!" Jessie said as Emma smiled and hugged her back.

"She's a girl." Cameron said to Hayes who looked at Emma then back at Cameron.

"She's amazing, I think even better than Shawn." Hayes said as Cameron looked back his best friend.

"It's your team, your choice." Cameron said as Hayes nodded. Hayes walked over to Emma and held out his hand. Emma looked at his hand and Hayes smiled.

"Welcome to the team." Hayes said as Emma smiled, and ingored the hand but hugged Hayes. Hayes stumbled and hugged her back. Emma pulled apart and looked at Jessie.

"Come on, we have to tell Ava!" Jessie exclaimed as Emma nodded and ran with Jessie to Ava.

They saw Ava talking to her boyfriend, Jack, and they was laughing about something on her phone. Emma ran over and jumped on Ava, who gasped.

"I made it!" Emma yelled as Ava screamed, and Jack covered his ears. 

"Seriously?!" Ava asked as Emma nodded and they hugged each other.

"Made what?" Jack asked as Emma looked at him.

"The football team." Emma said as Jack looked at her.

"What?" Jack asked as Emma nodded and Jack stood up, he kissed Ava on the cheek and ran towards the field.

"What was that about?" Jessie asked as they shrugged.

"Who cares, he's a wierd person." Emma said as Ava hit her arm.

"That wierd person is my boyfriend." Ava said as Jessie rolled her eyes and they went back talking about the next game.

Jack ran across the field and saw Hayes talking to his brother, Shawn, and Cameron. Jack ran over and reach them. He fell on the grass and Hayes looked at him.

"Are you okay?" Hayes asked as Jack sat up.

"Emma is my step-sister, and she's on the football team now?" Jack asked as Hayes bit his lip, and slowly nodded.

"She was amazing player!" Hayes said as Jack shook his head.

"If she gets hurt, I'm coming after you! We may be best friends but my famliy comes first." Jack snapped as Hayes nodded.

"I won't let her get hurt." Hayes promised as Jack nodded and he stood up.

"One more thing Hayes." Jack said as Hayes looked at him. "Don't mess with my sister." Jack said as he walked away and Hayes looked at his brother, who just shrugged his shoulders.

"Hayes?" Shawn asked as Hayes looked at him.

"Yeah?" Hayes asked.

"How are you gonna tell the other boys?" Shawn asked.
