Chapter 2

Gabby's POV ~

Truck 81 Squad 3 Ambulance 61 Structure Fire

I ran over to the ambo and waited for Sylvie like always. It always takes her 2 minutes to get to the bay. She gets into the ambo.

"Hey I am sorry about before, I didn't know he abused you."

"It's fine no one new not even Casey."

"If you don't mind me asking are you still going for a candidates spot on truck?"

"Yeah I was thinking 2 months after the baby is born. So it gives me time to spend time with the baby."

"I understand."

We arrived at these scene and it was a small gas station on fire. There was no victims. So ambo went back to the fire house.

"Hey Gabby want to watch a movie with me?"

"Sure first we have to make some popcorn."

I walk over to the microwave and put 2 bags of popcorn in. 1 minute later we take the popcorn out. We sit down on the couch and put the longest ride on. 30 minutes into the movie me and Sylvie fall asleep.

Casey POV~

We finished spraying down the gas station. I head to my truck before Herman stop me.

"Hey Lieutenant is Dawson pregnant?"

"Why would you say that?"

"She just seems different."

"Well if are so curious go ask her yourself."

"Ok."

We load up and head to the firehouse. We walk into the kitchen and Gabby and Sylvie are asleep with some chick flick on.

"Should we wake them up?" Otis said.

"We should let them sleep."

I walk over to my office and start doing paper work.

2 hours later.

Gabby comes walking into my office and sits on my bed.

"Hey Matt I have a question to ask you, how would you feel if I work on truck after 2

months of having the baby?"

"Well it takes more than 2 months to complete the academy."

"I already did the academy. When I signed up to become a paramedic I signed up to become a firefighter and 3 years ago I finished the academy."

"Well why am I just now hearing about this?"

"I didn't think I passed the academy."

"When did you find out that you passed the academy?"

"A few months ago."

"Gabby you have to tell me stuff like this."

"I just didn't know when."

"Hey you can tell me anything. Ok."

"Ok."

I lay down with Dawson on my chest and just lay there.

Ambulance 61 Several Victims Ambulance 94 Assistance.

Gabby gets up and gives me a kiss and leaves.

Gabby POV~

I head towards the ambo and hop into the drivers side. Brett hops in after me and we head to the scene. Ambulance 94 really needs backup. It looks like there was some kind of explosion here.

"Truck 81 to explosion." I hear over my radio.

Truck 81 arrives 5 minutes later.

"Gabby do you want Mouch or Cruz to help you with the victims?"

"I think we might need the extra help."

Cruz and Mouch comes over.

"Ok Mouch you go over with Brett and Cruz over here with me."

Cruz follows me to a victim.

"Ok Cruz this victim has a broken leg and a collapsed air way."

"Dawson what do you want me to do?"

"Go get me a 2.5cm air way tube out of the ambo. Also grab a leg collar."

"On it."

Cruz headed over to the ambo and grabbed the items I told him to get.

"Thanks Cruz."

"Welcome."

"Now Cruz I need you to slice a little cut on its lower neck."

Cruz did what I said and we inserted the tube. We then put the the leg collar on the victim. When we did that there was another explosion and I flew across the ground.

I blacked out

Casey POV~

I run over to Dawson and she has a huge cut on her stomach.

Short but I needed a cliff hanger the next chapter will be up soon.
