Chapter 3

Casey POV~

"Gabby!"

"Whatttt." She said weekly.

"Dont move. Brett get over here!"

Brett came over and got Gabby into the ambo. I rode along with them.

At the hospital~
We've been at the hospital for about an hour now and we heard nothing since they brought her in.

"Family of Gabriela Dawson?"

We all stood up.

"Gabriela Dawson is going to be ok. She has a minor cut on her stomach. It didn't harm the baby." The doctor said.

"Excuse me Mrs. our Gabriela Dawson is not pregnant." Chief said.

"Yes she is we didn't know the right time was to tell you. But our Gabriela Dawson is pregnant." I said.

Everyone from firehouse 51 was shocked. I went to Gabby in her room.

"Hey Gabby how you feeling?"

"I feel like I want to get back to work."

"Well we would have to ask your doctor when you can get back and if you can go back to work."

"What do you mean if I can go back to work?"

"I mean you might have to stay on bed rest until the baby comes."

The doctor walks in.

"Gabriela Dawson I got some good news for you. You can go back to work in 6 weeks. We had to put stitches in your stomach so you will have to wait until we take them out. After that you can go back to work for 3 months. We would have to start your leave early since the accident."

"Ok so when can I leave this place?"

"In about 3 hours."

3 hours later~

Me and Dawson walk into our house.

"Hey Gabby you can come to the firehouse next shift and hang out."

"Ok."

Next Shift~

"Hey Chief do you mind if Dawson stays here while I'm on shift?"

"Yeah that's fine."

"Thanks."

"Hey Casey do you know when Dawson is due."

"We are finding out next week."

"Ok and shut the door."

"Later Chief."

Dawson POV ~
I walk into the firehouse. I don't like it how everyone is starring at me like I just blew up a building.

"Go ahead say it then stare at me. Because didn't your mother's teach to never stare at people because it's rude!"

The whole house went silent. I start to walk to Casey office when I hear someone behind me. I turn around and I see O'brian.

"What do you want?"

"Just wanted to warn you that I will finish what I started in high school."

"You know you type of men think they can walk over us women. And you aren't going to walk all over me because if you did Casey would finish what my brother would do to you if you touched me."

"You think you Dawson's make me afraid. What you really make me feel is that why don't I want to finish what I started."

"Is there a problem?"

"No chief Dawson was just leaving."

I start walking away when the bells go off Squad 3 Truck 81 Ambulance 61

I start walking to the ambo when I remember that I am not shift. So I walk to the kitchen and start making lunch so when they get back they can eat. I go to the 2nd shift fridge and grab some milk and butter. I go to the cabinet and grab a box if noodles. I boil the noodles for some time. I drain the noodles and put milk and butter. I mix it all together and it smells good. I added some spices to make it perfect. I put it in the microwave until they get back. I walk into the bunk room and lay down. As soon as I played down I hear the trucks pull in. I walk into the kitchen and grab the past and put it on the stove to warm it up for about 10 minutes.

"Foods up!"

They all got into a line and I put some on there plates until Herman comes.

"Hey Dawson you sure you don't want to make your own plate first?"

"I already made it." I said looking over at my plate. I finish serving them and I grabbed my plate and sat next to Casey and Brett. We all finished our meals.

Shifts Over~

We all went to Molly's. Brett and Severide were talking it looked like they were really into each other. After Molly's me and Casey went back to our place and just talked all night long until like 12:00 am. I finally told him we have to get some rest. So me and him went to bed him holding me until I fell asleep.
