Chapter 4

Dawson POV~
Today is the first doctors appointment. Casey doesn't work shift today so he can come to the first appointment.

"Ready?"

"Ready."

We walk out of the apartment complex to the parking lot. Casey opens my door for me and I get in. I shut the door and put on my seatbelt. Casey gets in after me and does the same.

"Are you coming to next shift with me?"

"I'm not sure, I might stay home and clean or something."

"Ok sounds good."

We arrived at the doctors office and signed in. We waited in the waiting room,for about 20 minutes.

"Gabriela Dawson?" The doctor called my name and we followed him.

"Hello my name is Dr.Parker I will be your doctor today. Can you lye back on your back please."

He started the ultrasound and the baby was so small.

"Ok it looks like you are 2 months pregnant."

Casey squeezed my hand.

1 hour later ~

"Ok so next shift I have to let chief how far along you are so he can plan the maternity leave."

"Baby can we wait 2 more week because thats when I go back on ambo and I want to tell them together."

"Yeah no problem."

"Babe whats wrong?"

"Nothing I just cant wait till our little one is born." Casey said while kissing my stomach."

"Hey you wanna go to Molly's?"

"Matt I can't drink."

"I know but I would want to tell the house properly that were expecting."

"Sounds like a good idea."

At Molly's

We walk into Molly's. Everyone is sitting around drinking and having a good time. I look over and I see Brett and Severide are having a good time. I walk over to Brett.

"Hey can I talk to you outside?"

"Yeah sure."

We walk outside and stand by the door and talk.

"Is there anything going on between you and Severide?"

"Oh Severide no were just friends."

"Oh ok it j-us-t (stuttering) doesn't look like your "just friends"."

"Well he's good looking and all that but he's not my type."

"Ok."

We walk back inside. Brett walks back to Severide. I walk over to Casey.

"Hey do you think Brett and Severide are dating?"

"Their just friends I asked him."

"I just asked Brett that."

"Well ready to tell them?"

"Ready."

Casey taps his glass with a fork.

"Can we have your attention."

They all get silent.

"We would like to announce Gabby and me were expecting!"

Everyone claps and I look out of the corner of eye and I see Severide and Brett are leaving together. Everyone goes back to what there doing.

"Casey did you see that?"

"See what?"

"Brett and Severide leaving together."

Severide POV ~

My and Brett and driving in my car to my place. We get to my place and we get out of the car and walk up to the door step and take out the keys. I unlock the door and we walk into the house.

"Beer or wine?"

"Beer." Brett said.

I get 2 beers out and head over to the couch were Brett is sitting."

"So,where did you come from?"

"Well I came from my mother's."

I cut her of with a kiss. We Start to make out and Brett takes my top off.
