Angelo's POV
Janellys' statrting a new chapter in her life. I don't think she wants to do this. She will never be honest with me. Today Kev get out. He got a lot on his shoulders. Everybody expecting him to come out strong but the matter of fact is that he's done with everything. He doesn't want in on this life. It's that Ahna means more than anything to him. He not trying to hurt her. Sh*t getting crazy. Ant got sent to the box. After Ant got sent away, everything shifted.
Perah came in for her visit. They sent her away because they wouldn't let him out to see her. I swear this place is messed up. These people bugging. I can't stand it here, but once I get out. Everything's going to change. I'm going to have a family. We're getting out of here. Chicago isn't the place to be at this time. Especially because it's not safe.
I get smacked up side the back of my head, by Dennis. "Yo chill out with that man," I grabbed the back of my neck. "That hurt man." He started laughing, "straight ran up on yo a**." "When's the next time you're going to call Janellys?" "I don't know yet. Why." "I'm getting out soon man. I'm free." "They letting you out too?" "Yeah man. I'm out. I'm moving, too." "I feel you. But man why so soon." "They dropped all charges on my name. My record clean again." "Hold up, your record clean?" Dennis smiled and laughed, "I'm out. I don't know how my record clean but I don't care. I'm out."
The fact that my dad still hasn't tried to help me out. It really urks me. I could have been out a while ago. But no, I'm still here after almost a year and a half waiting for them to still make a move. Still nothing, but it's okay because now I know who really there for me.
Next month my girl going to come see me and that's all I'm worried about. Fuck everybody else.
"Angelo Summers." A guard came up to my cell and called my name. I sat up on my bunk, "yes sir?" "Someone wants to see you." The guard opened my cell door and I got up and stood putting my hands out." The guard put cuffs on me, he walked me out to the main lobby. I seen my lawyer, Janellys, and my mom. I was confused but I had a huge smile on my face. I walked over to them with the guard. He uncuffed my hands, leaving the cuffs on my feet on. My mom hugged me tight. She started crying and wouldn't let go of me. "Hello Mr. Summers," my lawyer spoke up as she shook my hand. "Angelo. You can call me Angelo." This was the first time I've seen my lawyer. Maybe because I never had one. My mom had paid her to help my case. "I'm here to talk about your plead deal." "I said I'm not guilty, because I'm not. If anything I wasn't doing anything wrong non what so ever." She looked at me and laughed. "Listen, Angelo. Either way you look at it. Your guilty and it's staying that way. They proved their point in court." Reguardless they still tripled me with that I was guilty, and either way I look at it. Good or bad, they were going to slap some years on my wrist. And they weren't going to be a short amount. I was getting atleast five years or more. Wasn't getting no better than that. "Either you take the 7 years or they are going to try you again to more than 15. Now you can take 7 years with $15,000. They won't give you no other deal." "They can't give me a shorter sentence with more money. I mean damn I'm in here with good behaviors with my friends getting out tomorrow. And I got 7 years what type of crap is that." "Stay on good behavior and they might lower it. Angelo you have to have a good concious. Without it your not going to be out any time soon." "Well sh*t seven years isn't not time soon. Don't you think?" Janellys held me by my side, "Babe just take the seven years. Please." "So I'm suppose to stay here, in here. Sh*t I want kids. We suppose to be getting out of Chicago." "I know, baby we going to okay. We just got to wait a little longer. I got you." The whole time I was there three hours went by. By then Dennis had already got out. I just hoped that I was getting out. They brand me out here to use me as an example. I swear. I don't get the ways of these streets.

Janellys' POV
Today I went to see Angelo, with his mom and the lawyer. That b*tch ain't do shit but call numbers. She didn't even talk to him about anything. It's okay though. They set bail to $100,000. I'm going to get that money. My baby is going to be home before the end of this year. Bet to believe it. Im going to get it. When I went home I called up a couple people. Elijah's going to help me move a couple bricks. Get this cash and keep it moving.
I'm on my way to go pick up Elijah. I've been using Angelo's car till he gets out. Since he's in there I'm not going to let it sit there looking dusty. I get to where I used to live and wait for Elijah to come out. When he comes out, he gets in the car. "Hey," he says putting on his seat belt then gives me a kiss on my cheek. "You ready?" I asked him while taking off. "Yeah," he says pulling up his shirt flashing two of his pieces. I just smiled and drove to where we needed to go. "When Angelo getting out?" He asked. "Seven years with debt. They selling out." "Damn seven years?" "Yeah, but we're doing this so he can be out sooner. I'm not staying here once he gets out." "You just going to leave your family here?" He looked at me disappointed. "Elijah I told you I'm done with Chicago, this is not the place to be. People dying everyday. I want to have a family. In a good place where I don't have to worry about walking outside at night." "I feel you but this is where everybody at. Your family is here." I pull up to the ware house. We get out and I pop the trunk open. I walk back to the trunk and grab two suitcases. Elijah grabs the rest of the cases. He pulls one of the pieces out of his pants, I take it then place it in mines in the front. I fix my shirt then close the trunk. I look around and kept walking towards the building. I pound on the door. Elijah watches my back side until they open the door. They open the door, "who you looking for?" "Chamel, it's Jay." "Come in." I walk in and there's guys lined up with guns. I walk all the way over towards the table. "Jaaay!" Chamel yells my name. "What have we here?" I laugh, "my guy everything we talked about. I'm just here to give you what you need and be out." "I need to check your product. Then you get your money." The thing that makes me laugh is this guys accent, and who the hell uses the name Chamel? Hilarious! But anyways, one of Chamel's guys opens up the suitcase and checks the first one.
Mean while he checks the cases. Chamel tries to drive up conversation. I feel like it's to try and cover up something. "Why haven't I seen you around Jay? Where did you come from?" "Man I been living life. Got to switch it up sometimes. Sh*t happens." I see one of his guys walk up to him and whisper in his ear. "Is there a problem," I question. Chamel laughs, "everything is fine. Indeed except the fact that your not going to leave unless I get another key in here." Somebody grabs me and puts a gun up to my head. I laugh, "I'm suppose to be scared? Huh?" I push back turn around and kick the guy off, knocking his gun out of his hand. I pull my piece out and aim. "Give me my f*cking money! Now!" Chamel laughs and walks away. Me and Elijah run for cover. They start shooting at us. There's about 10 guys out there. Elijah starts shooting rounds. He tosses me around 6 rounds. I begin to set it off. They got Elijah in his left arm but that don't stop my brother from getting up and killing three n*ggas in a row. Straight kill streak. When the other guys dipped out, I came out and grabbed the keys and the money. I go over to Elijah and out the bags down. "You okay?" I asked touching his arm. "Does it look like it Jay. Damn man." I took off my shirt and tied it around his arm cutting the circulation off partially in his arm. I grab the bags and help him up, Elijah continues to guard me making sure we're safe. I open the trunk and place the stuff in the trunk. Elijah gets in the car and we leave. I go to Vanessa's house. Dennis comes to the door. "Wassup." "Yo I need a favor from Vanessa. I need her to take my brother to the hospital ASAP. I need to take this money and clear up this sh*t." "Hold on. Ayoo! V! Babe!" He goes and gets her and she rushes to the door. "What happened?" "Elijah got shot in the arm. I need you take him so I can get rid of this stuff." She goes and gets her keys. "How is it to be back home?" "It's good. Really good." "That's good." Vanessa comes back to the door. "I'll be back babe," she gives Dennis a kiss then leaves. "I'll see you Dennis, bye." I get back in my car and leave.
I get to my house and pull up around back. I get out and grab my purse then goes inside. I call my bank account to make sure my current balance is still there. I go outside and get the bags then go back inside to the basement. I have a little room downstairs in my basement to hide shit. I hear something large drop upstairs, I jumped and dropped the bags and grabbed my piece and go upstairs. When I get to the top of the stairs I see my front door open. I open the door wider and creep out. I turn the safety off and aim. I hear another drop in the living room. As soon as I get to the living room I aim right at the person. "Who the hell are you?" I cocked the gun and loaded the chamber. The guy froze. Yet it wasn't a grown man it was a teenager. He turned around. "Hey chill." "There isn't going to be no chill, why you in my house? Get the fuck out! Now before I call yo mama!" He ran and I followed him, then he left out the front door. This child thought he was slick. About to take my sh*t. He funny.
