Chapter Eleven

Janellys' POV

  Tonight I'm going out with some of the girls I met in my neighborhood. They seem okay for people from a different state. I get dressed and go out. When I get there, they're all inside and they have a VIP area. Now that's raw. When I get inside I walk through the crowd. Some guy smacks my butt. I turn around fast.

"Don't touch my mother f*cking a**!"
He laughs and raises his hands, "my bad ma."

  I keep walking to the VIP where the girls are at. When I get up there I see Abrianna, Ladey, Leiandra, and Naomi with some guys. Ladey screams my name, and everybody looks at me.

"What the hell," I bust out laughing.
"Tonight about you girl," Leiandra pulled me over to the table.
"About me?" I paused and looked at her. "What you mean about me?"
Naomi started adding to it, "your single and you need to start looking. You just moved here and you need to have fun."
"Going to work, school, and going right back home ain't gone get you no where girl. You need to start dating and tonight your going to get f*cked up," Abrianna handed me a glass.

  After an hour of being there I was already buzzed. We were dancing and turning up. They were right, I do need to get out more. This was the first time I ever went out to a club. It was a new feeling, and it was good. I think coming out here and meeting more people like me was something I needed. We ended up leaving the club around 4 a.m. We were all drunk, and I could say I loved being drunk. We took a cab to a restaurant. We went to Steak and Shake. There was a bunch of people there from the club. By then we were sobering up. We are and just chilled there for a while. There was a guy with some friends on the other side of the resturant staring in my direction. I noticed without having to look his way. When I did look his way he would start talking to his friends.

"Girl, I peep you," Ladey said nudging me with her arm.
I laugh, "what you talking about?"
"Don't act stupid, he's cute."
"Hold up who?" Naomi interrupted.
"That guy over there looking at Jay." Ladey said pointing a fry his direction.
"Which one? There's a couple of guys that way."
"Just watch."
We all talked about something random and when he looked over, Naomi noticed who Ladey was talking about.
"Oh my gawd, girl he's fine. Go talk to him."
Abrianna smacked Naomi on her leg, "let him come to her! Janellys let him come to you. If he don't, he don't."
"I'm not worried about any guys right now."

  I just kept thinking about all the stuff I been through, and what happened the last time I let a guy into my life. I'm not getting ran over again. I refused to be hurt. I'm happy, I would like to stay this was.

Abrianna takes a sip of her drink, "You keep saying you don't want guys in your life. What you going to do? Stay alone forever?"
"If it keeps me happy, yes," I put a fry in my mouth.
"I'll be right back," Naomi gets up and goes over to the other table across the resturant, where the guys are.
"This girl, oh my gawd." Ladey laughs.

  I continue eating ignoring them. What's so special about guys? They only but create problems. A girl comes to our table. She looks familiar. She taps me on my arm.

"Excuse me, is your name Janellys?"

  I look over my shoulder, up at her. I pop up out of my chair.

"Oh my gawd, Perah! When did you get here?" I gave her a hug.
"I been here for a month now." She smiled.
"Hold on, so rude of me," I laugh. "This is Ladey, Abrianna, and Leiandra. Naomi is over there. These are my friends out here."

  They just sat there waiting to be introduced. Just awkward moments. I say back down and Perah gave me her number and left. Naomi comes back to the table.

"So what happened mosey a**," Ladey asked Naomi.
"Well damn, so janellys how would you feel if he wanted to take you out?" She smiled at me.
"Take me out where?"
"I don't know. He just said that he wanted to get to know you. He gave me his number to give to you."
"To be honest he random and straight to the point as f*ck."
"He like you I guess. Man they were at the same club as us And everything," she laughs "it's like they followed us all night just so he could talk to you."
"Wow. That's just ridiculous." I grab a napkin, and clean off my hands.
