"You're not serious!" Nelly shouted at Preston, standing to her feet in outrage. This white boy can not be legit! She thought as she clenched her fists tightly and began to pace back and forth.

It was after lunch and Preston and Nelly had went up to her room to discuss their future circumstances in private.

"Of course I'm completely serious. Why wouldn't I be?" Preston responded, calmly shrugging his shoulders.

"I can't give up my career, so that you can have your own. It means everything to me. I've given up so much to obtain two degrees and now the opportunities I've been given and you expect me to give it up in the hopes that you do win this precious election? Are you dumb?" She asked continuing to look at him with eyebrows raised and her mouth gaping.

"You're the idiot if you think you're going to be able to keep up with your own career while you are married to me. There's too much involved in your job description as my wife. Much more important things involved than being your own person, so yes you'll have to sacrifice it for the greater good of everyone," Preston explained trying to reign in his temper, shifting himself to watch her angry movements. Why was she making this difficult for me?

"You mean for the greater good of you, you arrogant, selfish pig!" Nelly shouted as she pushed his chest leaving no impression in his stance.

"Exactly! Glad you're catching on. I knew you were smarter than you let on. Alright. Now that we established that. We have to talk about the fact that we must tell the public of our relationship sooner than later, because you're, in case you were wondering, black so that means they can't call me a racist bigot any longer", Preston said as he took her hands off his chest and pinned them behind her back, so she could stop trying to knock him off the bed.

"But you are. The moment you walked into my room you said it's like stepping into a Save the Children's commercial, because it smells and looks like Africa trampled in here and ran away. I mean what do you expect?" Nelly exclaimed angrily as she attempted to tug her hands out of the death grip Preston had placed around her wrists.

"Oh shut up! If it didn't smell like- seriously what is that smell?" He asked, sniffing the air in exasperation.

"Natural shea butter and castor oil. I put it in my hair and all over my body when I go to sleep so it's all over the place," she informed him, giving up on getting her hands back.

"Oh well, what is it even supposed to do? It smells fucking terrible, so it can't be all that great," he said frankly as he let go of her hands and straightened his suit out and settled into a more comfortable position.

"It's supposed to soften the skin and hair- you know what, why am I explaining this to you? Why don't you just leave if it smells so terrible?"

"Because my business here isn't complete, schnookums! Now where was I?" He looked lost in thought before he came back to Earth. "Right! So we're going to make it seem like we met here, Miami, at the high school basketball fundraiser tomorrow, cause you know I'm a good person and I like to celebrate the dreams of young people and so on and so forth. So what do you think?" He looked at her expectantly. She knew of the fundraiser he was speaking of, since she was a part of the committee.

"I think you should get the fuck out of here and find some white chick to fulfill my role as First Lady," she said sitting at her computer and opening it up to begin her weekly blog update.
