All week, Preston had been a cancerous mole on Nelly's life. Whenever he wasn't in her exact vicinity, plaguing her with his presence, there would be several congregations of paparazzi greeting her at the grocery store, her church for Bible study, and even her front door step. When she'd complained to the very root of the disease, he referred her to his PR team and his manager, Samuel, suggested her to "embrace" the fame with a smile.

Learning to embrace having her face on FOX News, CNN, The View, and even 106 and Park was proving to be a steep learning curve and the "smile" was slowly but surely turning into a grimace.

Whenever she thought she'd get a break, she'd hear the familiar knock outside her door and standing there in her doorway would be Preston. Standing there like an untouchable force along with his formidable bodyguards surrounding him with an army of press that now came with the 'Neslande Charles' name.

Usually he would brief her on things she would need to know in order to personify his fiancée. It was usually fun facts about his family and himself and then he'd ask her about herself, that led down the hellishly uncomfortable path of subjects such as her brother, and somehow their talks always bled into sunset and he'd always think up an excuse as to why he couldn't go to his hotel, but she woke up today with the determination to keep him at arm's length till the very last minute of her time left in Florida. She just wanted to relax and hit the Miami scene with her cousin and her friends. It was Friday meaning one of the hottest days to be dancing all across the board.

Hottest weather. Hottest drinks. Hottest prices for said drinks and best of all... Hottest men.

She was going to enjoy herself, no matter what.

She was just waking up at 9 am to get a morning run in, when she heard the all too familiar rapping at the door. It was either the paps or Preston. Either way she did not want to open the door. She rolled her eyes and kept it moving towards the bathroom. Her parents were visiting Naples for the weekend for a wedding tomorrow so there was no one to open the door to his annoying ass, but her. Maybe he'd go away after a while. She prayed.

She'd just finished brushing her teeth when she heard banging at the door. She was half expecting for them to yell "Miami-Dade Police Department! Open up!"

Why the hell is this white negro banging on my God damn door? She hurried her way over to the door and opened it hoping her makeup-less glare would scare him off, but he just pushed his way through the door.

"I've seen your face all week and although it's been a pleasure, it's time for you to hop up out of here for the next two days. After that I'm all yours to pester and cajole", she told him as she put my hands on her hips and leaned against the doorway.

He was wearing casual clothing, or at least as casual as Preston could get. She didn't think he'd ever worn a t-shirt and jeans before in his life. He was wearing a white dress shirt that was buttoned all the way up and white dress pants with his hands currently tucked in his pants as he smirked at her. She looked him over and shook her head, though her stomach turned to butterflies as soon as he turned his attention towards her before making his way to their designated meeting room.

"It's nice to hear you finally admit your fondness for my presence. I knew somewhere deep down behind your hard exterior you were a normal human female", he said, rushing, she followed his long strides to her room.

This bi- ,"What are you trying to say exactly?" She said allowing the door to shut itself as she walked toward him.

"Well, you're like no other woman I've ever met in my life. Usually I come into their house and they are either offering me a refreshment or a refreshment", he explained, gesturing to her nether regions.
