After Four month's ......

"Well, well, well! Why do you call me so early in the morning, Miss Atulya?" Vidharth questioned, leaning back in her home office chair.

"Didn't you still have doubts that I told something to Ava?"

Atulya gritted her teeth and closed her eyes in frustration.

"I didn't trust you, Vidharth - not now, not then, nor will I ever. But I called you here because something big is about to happen. Something that could completely shatter many things."

Vidharth interlaced his fingers together and placed his hands on the glass table. "What do you mean?"

Atulya smirked. "When you met the Yorks, didn't you think how unusually thoughtful they were about Ava? And didn't it strike you as odd that, despite their concern, no one ever stopped Jeremy from doing as he pleased? Do you know why?" She spat out the words in a single, venomous breath.

Vidharth's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze burning with intensity. He knew all too well that Atulya possessed secrets he didn't know.

"Because they're nothing but opportunistic beggars," Atulya sneered, "begging to be kings. They feared Jeremy, with his treacherous nature and unparalleled power. In his generation, only your mother could match him, not even Serenity. Now that he's gone, they're circling like predators, eager to devour the wealth Jarek inherited. They're well aware of the complicated relationship between Shubhra and Jarek, and now they're determined to destroy it, by any means necessary. All this sweetness is just a ruse, a precursor to the real struggle: the struggle for power."

Vidharth slumped in the chair, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. "Okay, but why are you telling me all this?"

Atulya's gaze remained steady, her voice measured. "Didn't you want the York family business too? It's your mother's legacy, after all. She was the rightful heir to all that. Now, it's your chance to fight for it and win it. When everyone is busy with their own power struggle, we could use this opportunity."

Vidharth gritted his teeth, but remained silent. This woman was currently in power, and she knew exactly what he wanted.

"So, what do you want from me now?" Vidharth asked, his tone cautious.

Atulya's eyes seemed to bore into his soul. "I want to know about the Basu family."

She paused, her gaze intensifying. "I want information about Avinash Basu's sons."

Vidharth's gaze narrowed, his eyes burning with intensity as his mind began to whirl with possibilities. "His sons? Which one?"

In the eyes of the world, he was just a simple perfume entrepreneur, but only a select few knew about the depth of his intelligence agency. They had access to all kinds of information, no matter how obscure or well-hidden. Vidharth's reputation was built on his ability to uncover secrets, to dig up the truth no matter how deeply it was buried. His eyes seemed to bore into Atulya's soul, as if daring her to withhold anything.
