"Back again, huh?" Vidharth said, settling into the chair. "The wedding rituals start tomorrow, and you're still fighting with your wife."

"Shut up! You know nothing," Adwait growled, pressing his hands to his head.

Vidharth raised an eyebrow. "I may not know everything, but I do know it's your second wedding, and this time it's to the one you've always wanted. Are you really going to let a stupid fight ruin it?"

Adwait looked at his friend helplessly. "You think it's that easy? I thought I knew her, but she always makes me feel like I don't."

Vidharth sipped the coffee who was sitting at the table, his expression calm. "She owns Lucas right, and you're not new to this world. How can you expect her to accept you easily? Trust is earned, my friend, not given. You need to prove yourself to her."

"Okay, maybe you're right, but efforts should come from both sides," Adwait said, shaking his head.

Vidharth set the cup on the table, clasped his fingers together, and turned serious. "That's why you're upset with her, isn't it? She told you the truth. I know the timing is off, but she took a huge step and tried to trust you. Yet, you're pushing her away. You're wrong, Adwait. The timing may be wrong, but what about her intentions? Ask yourself!"

Adwait's conscience began to resonate with Vidharth's words. He reflected on his actions and realized he was pushing Shubhra away.

"I claimed I had patience and was ready to accept her secrets," he thought, "but when she opened up, I pushed her away."

He now understood that her inner struggles and burdens far exceeded what he could handle.

Adwait also knew he wasn't entirely wrong. This concerned his family, and he wouldn't let Shubhra or anyone harm them. He had trusted someone similarly before, and it ended in tragedy, costing him someone dear. He wouldn't repeat that mistake.

Vidharth reverted to his casual, carefree demeanor after imparting the necessary advice. "By the way, why don't you surprise her with something special?" he suggested, his tone enthusiastic, as he left the office.

Adwait pondered for a moment before following suit.

The majestic waterfall, standing proudly in the palace's center, was bathed in warm, golden light. Bright red and orange hues danced across its surface, reflecting the sun's vibrant colors. The white marble surrounding the waterfall had transformed into a kaleidoscope of oranges.

As the sun, weary from witnessing the day's turmoil, began its descent, it prepared to take its daily respite. The transition between day and night was near.

A sleek black Bentley stopped before the Randhawa Palace gates, and two people emerged. Jarek, behind the wheel, waved to the guards, who recognized him and promptly opened the gate.
