B.O.T.L.S Chapter Twenty-Seven

Chapter Twenty-Seven:

Zaynes Pov

I opened my eyes when I heard my dad laughing his but off. As I let out a breath I turned to dad with a look of anger. His head laying on his left hand which was holding the steering wheel, while his right hand was holding on to his stomach. I growled giving him a slight push.

"This is not funny dad. You nearly gave all of us a heart attack. What is wrong with you?" I asked placing my hand over my heart which was beating incredibly fast.

"S-sorry but y'all sh-should have seen your fa-faces." Dad laughed and I just gave him a few punches on the arm and shook my head at him.

I then looked in the back and saw Aimee holding tightly to her seatbelt with her eyes closed tight, but it was a different story for Justin. That dude was out cold, the way he looked you would have thought he was dead. His head was besides Aimee's thigh, his mouth was wide open with his eyes rolled to the back of his head.

Unbuckling my seat belt, I turned and gave Justin a few slaps on the cheek to wake him up. He gave out a groan blinking a few times and focused his eyes on me.

"A-Are we dead?" He asked freaking out. I gave out a small chuckle while shaking my head.

"Luckily not. Dad just thought it would be funny to pull a prank on us." I answered Justin who let out a breath.

"Oh come on it was funny." Dad said wiping the tears from his face from laughing so hard.

"No it wasn't!" Aimee, Justin, and I said in unison looking at him with looks that could kill.

"We were just falling to our death not to long ago, so how did we get here?" I asked dad as I stepped out the car with everyone else following my actions. I looked at the fence made out of silver pillars about 40 yards apart  going on for miles, and in between each pillar was this blue light filling the spaces. That must have been the UV light that mom was talking about. I looked towards dad when I heard the sound of the window going down.

"A portal created to lead us to the school entrance. If you look up you will see it. That's how we got here." Dad answered pointing towards the sky so Justin, Aimee, and I looked up toward the sky. Indeed there was a portal, but it just looked as if the sky was swirling at one point like the red dot on Jupiter.

"Anyways back in the car, got to get you guys to the schools main building." Dad told us getting back in the car and we followed behind him. Once everyone was back in he started driving towards the gate made of the UV light. I held my breath expecting the worst, but let it out when nothing happened when we went through it.

He drove down the road until he came across the parking lot in front of what I'm guessing was the main building. Everybody got out from the car once dad parked and walked towards the main building. When we opened the door we came across a lady  at the front desk. She had a pixie haircut, brown eyes with black rimmed glasses, and red lipstick. Her head was down working on some paper work for the school.

"Excuse me." Dad said getting her attention leaning on the counter of the front desk.

"Yes hello, how may I help you sir?"

"I would like to enroll my son and his friends into this school." Dad said smiling at her kindly. She smiled back before answering

"Of course. Have them fill out these forms and they will receive their uniforms and their schedule afterwards." She said handing out a clipboard and a pen to each of us. It didn't seem like much work to do like a usual school. The form was just a couple a questions that were pretty easy to answer. These are a few of the questions:
