Chapter Twenty-Four: You Remind Me of Snow White
"Zayne...Zayne wake up" I heard someone shaking me awake. "Zayne seriously wake up. We're here." The same voice said again. This time lightly slapping the right side of my face.
I slowly opened my eyes to reveal the culprit who has awoken me from this not so comfortable slumber in the car.
"Justin?" I said confused wiping the sleep from my eyes to make sure it was him. "Where's Aimee?"
"Inside the house, or mansion to be exact that is to big to be a house."
As I unbuckled the seatbelt, I stepped out the car to take a look at the house we are going to be staying in from now on. And just like Justin said it was big and...very nice. I looked around to see where everybody was, but they seem to have gone ahead.
"Anyways lets go inside. The bags are inside already, but we will begin removing the boxes from the trucks tomorrow. I say we go rest for now like everybody. It was a long ride."
'And a stressful one to.' I thought as I nodded my head following Justin inside closing the door behind me.
"Hey sweetie." Mom said hugging me. "Let me lead you to your room. You must still be tired."
I nodded once again and yawned as proof before following mom towards my new room. As Justin followed close behind.
"Where is everybody?" I asked mom getting to a door that opens up to a glass hall that leads to another house like two bedrooms that share the same bathroom.
"Well your father, Naomi, Crystal, and Rebecca are upstairs sleeping already, but Blake and Aimee are in their rooms unpacking their bags."
"Hmmm." I replied looking to my right to reveal a swimming pool and a nice view of the ocean with buildings in the distance. Mom opens the door and there are stairs that lead up towards the second house, which is immediately opened to a living room and to the right are spiraled stairs that lead upstairs and continue to go one floor level below.
"Blake's, Aimee's, and Justin's room are downstairs, while yours is the only room that leads upstairs. Blake wanted you to have the room with the best view and so did your father and I."
"You guys didn't have to." I said turning towards mom.
"Don't worry about it Zayne. Just think of it as a happy belated gift."
Happy belated? Oh right my real birthday was like five days ago, so I'm actually 16 years old. I'm so used to having my birthday a month after.
"Thank you." I said giving mom a small smile.
"No problem sweetie." She replied placing her hand on my cheek while rubbing small circles with her thumb.
"Anyways tomorrow we are all going out for breakfast, after that your dad is going to go sign you and Justin up for E.V.A, before coming back home to finish unpacking alright." Mom says after removing her warm hands from my cheek.
"Alright." I replied back
"Sweet dreams sweetie."
"You to mom." I said to her as she goes back down the stairs into the other house. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow Justin." I said walking towards the stairs to go up to my room and him to go down to his room.
"Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow."
Once I was finally up the stairs I was stopped by a trapped door, one of those things that are used to hide something or someone, and slowly opened it. I immediately came into contact with the cool night breeze and looked up towards the few stars in the sky for a few seconds before heading towards the door to my left. When I opened the door I saw that my bags where in here, so I took out a change of clothes comfortable to sleep in. After I finished changing I got the small bag that I had for my tolietries and brushed my teeth before getting into the soft bed.
