Chapter thirteen: Across The Line

Crystal's POV

Blake, Aimee, Justin, and I quickly exit the school toward Blake's car. When we got to his car he unlocked the doors and hand the keys to me.

"Take care of my baby Crystal and make sure you don't scratch it." Blake said looking at me seriously before putting the keys in my hand.

"Woah, wait a minute, what are you going to do?" I asked Blake while raising an eyebrow.

"I'm going back to help Zayne. I'll meet you at my place." Blake told me before taking out his phone and pressed some keys and running off towards where Zayne was. Not long after my phone vibrated and saw that it was a message from Blake with the address to his place.

I let out a huff before getting in the drivers seat, taking my phone and put the address in the gps, and lastly put the key in the ignition twisting it making the engine roar to life. I went back over towards Justin and opened the back door so he can place Aimee inside behind the passenger seat buckling the seat belt before opening the front door and getting in. I ran back over to the car in my normal speed not risking the possibility of being caught on some camera. As I got in the car I hurriedly reversed and headed toward Blake's place.

Zayne's POV

I turned back around towards the three vampires only to see that one that dyed his hair a dark blue color and had piercings was holding his hand out getting ready to do something. I stared at him wondering what he was trying to do. I quickly ran over to them trying to hurry up and get this over with but stopped all of a sudden when my body felt heavy all of a sudden.

What the hell is happening? Why does my body feel heavy? I looked at the vampire with the blue hair who still had his arm out. I tried taking a step towards him but he just moved his hand like he was lowering something and to my surprise my body started to get heavier and heavier and the next thing I know I'm kneeling on the ground. The earth was caving in around me the more pressure he put on my body. Then I realized that he wasn't make my body heavier he was changing the gravity around me. Well this wasn't good at all. I was stuck in a bad situation and I had no idea how I'm going to get my self out.

A vampire appeared in front of me so I forcefully lifted my head up and looked up at the vampire that had blonde hair with black tips. The opposite of the vampire that I just killed but when I looked closer he looked similar to him.

" You're gonna pay for killing my brother, but since I can't kill you I'm gonna make you suffer." He said before pulling his right arm back and punching me in the face. I just spit out the blood in my mouth and chuckled. I looked up at him breathing hard from the pressure of the gravity I was feeling.

"Oh come on." I began before laughing at him again " that bitch had it coming." I said repeating what his brother, who I'm guessing was known as Drake, said before his death, which angered him some more and made him go on a rampage as his red eyes turned black and his fist keep colliding with my face. Each punch making those memories from 5 years ago surface to my mind. *punch* The pain of being hit with rocks, *punch* the pain of of being punched and *punch* kicked, *punch* the little girl with the platinum blonde hair, *punch*and finally the pain of being cut with the sword of Zach. They were all coming backing to me. I coudn't let this happened again. I coudn't die here with out getting my revenge.

My breathing starts to get heavier and a low growl escapes my lips and all of a sudden a dark brown wolf appears out of nowhere and attacks the blue haired vampire realeasing me from the change of gravity making the vampire with the blonde hair stop having his fun from punching me.

'Shift Zayne.' Ryker says to me. 'You have to shift.'

'Ho-how?' I asked my wolf breathing hard looking up towards the dusk sky in the direction of the barely visible full moon.
