Chapter 6 ~ What Happened?

I ran faster, faster, if that was even possible. A scream ripped through my throat as if my life depended on it, came out as a piercing two edged sword splitting blood curtailing scream which caught myself off guard and I tumbled to the floor and landing on my stomach. I had screeched so loud that my ears could have blown and blood could have started to seep down, which unfortunately, it did. My ears were starting to ooze blood down the sides of my neck and face. I thought for sure something horrible was going to happen to me right at that moment, and I was right. I felt the ground start to rumble underneath myself, then the sound of creaking filled my blood obsessed ears. I could see my world shaking from my blurred vision, and the noise made my insides turn and erupt with unpleasantness. I did not have the time to react because in one split second, the ground split in two right above my head. I quickly rolled away from the crack that has now grown in size. If I didn't know any better, I would say that the ground was trying to swallow me.
The time is coming,
The doors to hell are burning,
His anger is now fuming,
The battle is beginning,
Fire is awaiting,
Hope is fading,
You are losing,
The world is shattering,
You better hurry up Angel,
Time is running out.
The small voice whispered in my ear for the third time. I am really starting to go crazy, unless my mind is somehow going crazy. Either way, I will in someway end up in a hospital. I lifted myself from the shattered ground and scanned the once terrifying hallway has suddenly quieted and stilled. The long forgotten figure that was chasing me before has vanished into thin air, no sign of it anywhere unless if you count the giant gaping crack in the floor. I rubbed my neck with my right hand forgetting to blood still falling down the sides. But once my hand hit my skin and the drops of blood, a burning sensation shot up my arm. My neck was ice cold along with my blood, and on top of that my hand was burning from how freezing it was. Cold tears filled my eyes, I could feel my eyes stinging. I pulled my hand way from my neck and saw that my whole hand had turned a dark shade of purple with bold blue streaks down my palm and fingers. My eyes grew wide with fear despite the stinging cold tears now falling down my face. I began to race back down the hall to the bathroom.
I rammed into the the bathroom door making it swing open and hit the wall behind it. I rushed to the the front of the mirror, leaning my hands on the edge of the counter an staring at myself in the mirror, my breath hitched at the hideous sight that was staring back at me. From my ears down the sides of my face to the sides of my neck were thick blue strips of bold blue lines much like the ones on my hand. My skin was turning a deathly pale shape of purple, but lastly my eyes... My right eye was a bright color of purple and my left eye was an unnatural color of emerald green. I suddenly felt my knees lock and I fell the floor. I pulled my knees up to my chin and hugged myself. I was in mental shock, what is going on with me ? I did nothing wrong! Why is this all happening to me? Why is it happening? Am I possessed?
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" I was yanked out of my mental shock when the bathroom door slammed open and a scream filled the tinny room. I did not have the strength to get up and see who made me only hug my knees closer to me out of fear. The person came quickly ran over to me and landed next to me, they then tugged on my arms to pull me up and place my head on their lap. I looked at the face looking down at me, I instantly realized who it was, it was Memory. She had tears running down her face and she who struggling to steady her breathing, but her attempts were futile considering that she was staring down at my deathly image.
